| 1 | Ouve-me; quando eu clamo, ó Deus da minha justiça, na angustia me déste largueza; tem misericordia de mim e ouve a minha oração. | Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. |
| 2 | Filhos dos homens, até quando convertereis a minha gloria em infamia? até quando amareis a vaidade e buscareis a mentira? (Selah). | O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. |
| 3 | Sabei pois que o Senhor separou para si aquelle que lhe é querido; o Senhor ouvirá quando eu clamar a elle. | But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. |
| 4 | Perturbae-vos e não pequeis: fallae com o vosso coração sobre a vossa cama, e calae-vos. (Selah). | Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. |
