| 1 | I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to Yahweh’s house!” | I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. |
| 2 | Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem; | Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. |
| 3 | Jerusalem, that is built as a city that is compact together; | Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together: |
| 4 | where the tribes go up, even Yah’s tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to Yahweh’s name. | Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord. |
| 5 | For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David’s house. | For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. |
| 6 | Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper. | Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. |
| 7 | Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces. | Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. |
| 8 | For my brothers’ and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” | For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. |
| 9 | For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good. | Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good. |
