| 2 | Lauda, anima mea, Dominum. Laudabo Dominum in vita mea ; psallam Deo meo quamdiu fuero. Nolite confidere in principibus, | Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. |
| 3 | in filiis hominum, in quibus non est salus. | Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. |
| 4 | Exibit spiritus ejus, et revertetur in terram suam ; in illa die peribunt omnes cogitationes eorum. | One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. |
| 5 | Beatus cujus Deus Jacob adjutor ejus, spes ejus in Domino Deo ipsius : | I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. |
| 6 | qui fecit cælum et terram, mare, et omnia quæ in eis sunt. | And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. |

| 9 | Dominus custodit advenas, pupillum et viduam suscipiet, et vias peccatorum disperdet. | The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. |
| 10 | Regnabit Dominus in sæcula ; Deus tuus, Sion, in generationem et generationem. | All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee. |
