| 2 | Potens in terra erit semen ejus ; generatio rectorum benedicetur. | The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. |
| 3 | Gloria et divitiæ in domo ejus, et justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi. | His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever. |
| 4 | Exortum est in tenebris lumen rectis : misericors, et miserator, et justus. | He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion. |
