|---|---|---|
canticum Asaph attamen bonus est Israhel Deus his qui mundo sunt corde | Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.
mei autem paene vacillaverunt pedes paene effusi sunt gressus mei | He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
quia aemulatus sum contra iniquos pacem impiorum videns | The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
quod non recogitaverint de morte sua et firma sint vestibula eorum | He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
in labore hominum non sunt et cum hominibus non flagellabuntur | They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
ideo nutriti sunt ad superbiam circumdederunt iniquitatem sibi | He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
processerunt a pinguidine oculi eorum transierunt cogitationes cordis | In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
inriserunt et locuti sunt in malitia calumniam de excelso loquentes | He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
posuerunt in caelo os suum et lingua eorum deambulavit in terra | They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
propterea convertetur populus eius hic et quis plenus invenietur in eis | The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
et dixerunt quomodo novit Deus et si est scientia in Excelso | Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
ecce isti impii et abundantes in saeculo multiplicaverunt divitias | For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
ergone frustra mundavi cor meum et lavi in innocentia manus meas | He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
et fui flagellatus tota die et increpatio mea in matutinis | He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
dixi si narravero sic ecce generationem filiorum tuorum reliqui | And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.
et cogitavi ut intellegerem istud labor est in oculis meis | There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
donec veniam ad sanctuaria Dei intellegam in novissimo eorum | His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
verumtamen in lubrico posuisti eos deiecisti eos ad interitum | Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
quomodo vastati sunt subito defecerunt consumpti sunt quasi non sint | And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
quasi somnium evigilantis Domine in civitate tua imaginem eorum ad nihilum rediges | The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
quia contractum est cor meum et lumbi mei velut ignis fumigans | —
et ego insipiens et nescius | —
quasi iumentum factus sum apud te et eram semper tecum | —
et tenebas manum dexteram meam in consilium tuum deduces me et postea in gloria suscipies me | —
quid mihi est in caelo et tecum nolui in terra | —
