절	Biblia Sacra Vulgata (2007)	King James Version
canticum graduum qui confidunt in Domino quasi mons Sion inmobilis in aeternum habitabilis	If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;
Hierusalem montes in circuitu eius et Dominus in circuitu populi sui amodo et usque in aeternum	If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
quia non requiescet virga impietatis super sortem iustorum ut non mittant iusti in iniquitatem manus suas	Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
benefac Domine bonis et rectis corde	Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
qui autem declinant ad pravitates suas deducet eos Dominus cum his qui operantur iniquitatem pax super Israhel	Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
—	Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
—	Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
—	Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
