| 2 | Là kẻ toan mưu ác nơi lòng: Hằng ngày chúng nó hiệp lại đặng tranh chiến. | Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war. |
| 3 | Chúng nó mài nhọn lưỡi mình như rắn, Có nọc độc rắn hổ trong môi mình. | They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips. Selah. |
| 4 | Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy giữ tôi khỏi tay kẻ ác, Bảo hộ tôi khỏi người hung bạo, Là kẻ toan mưu làm bước tôi vấp ngã. | Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings. |
