| 16 | Na'uli' Yesus mpo'uli' -raka: "To kutudui' -kokoile, tudui' ngkai Alata'ala to mposuro-a, bela tudui' -ku moto. | Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. |
| 17 | Hema to doko' mpobabehi konoa Alata'ala, ra'inca mpai' kangkaiapa-na tudui' -ku toi, ba ngkai Alata'ala mpu'u-di ba lolita-ku moto-wadi. | If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. |

| 21 | Na'uli' Yesus: "Mekehele-koi, apa' mpaka'uri' -a tauna hi Eo Sabat. | Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel. |
| 22 | Hiaa' koi' wo'o mobago moto hi Eo Sabat ane mpobabehi-koi ada petini'. Nabi Musa owi mpohubui-koi mpotini' ana' -ni. Ane ria ana' -ni to kana ratini' hi Eo Sabat, bate nitini' moto-i. | Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. |

Tapi' koi' uma mpo'incai-i. | Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. |

| 31 | Wori' hi olo' tau ntodea to mepangala' hi Hi'a, ra'uli': "Magau' Topetolo' mpu'u-i-tawo', baa' wori' -di tanda mekoncehi to nababehi-e." | And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done? |

Meka' ba hilou-i mo'oha' dohe to Yahudi to mposowo' -ra to Yunani, pai' -i mpotudui' -ra to Yunani. | Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles? |
