Mi stap plang bilong yu, na bikpela pe bilong yu i planti moa yet. | After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. |

| 9 | Na Em i tokim em, Kisim bilong Mi wanpela bulmakau meri i gat tripela krismas, na wanpela meme meri i gat tripela krismas, na wanpela sipsip man i gat tripela krismas, na wanpela balus turtel, na wanpela yangpela balus pidgin. | And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. |

Na ol bai givim hevi long ol 400 yia. | And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; |

| 17 | ¶ Na em i kamap olsem, long, taim san i go daun, na em i tudak, lukim wanpela bikpela aven i smok, na wanpela lam i paia husat i go namel long ol dispela hap mit. | And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. |
