Na ol husat i stap yet i ranawe i go long maunten. | And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain. |

Na ol dispela i gat kontrak bilong wok wantaim wantaim Ebram. | And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram. |

| 17 | ¶ Na king bilong Sodom i go ausait bilong bungim em bihain long em i kam bek long bikpela kilim i dai bilong Kedorlemer, na ol king husat stap wantaim em long ples daun bilong Save, dispela em i ples daun bilong king. | And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s dale. |
| 18 | Na Melkisedek, king bilong Selem, i bringim bret na wain i kam ausait. Na em i pris bilong God i antap olgeta. | And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. |

| 20 | Na blesing i stap long God i antap olgeta, husat i bin givim ol birua bilong yu i go long han bilong yu. Na em i givim em ol namba ten hap bilong olgeta samting. | And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. |
| 21 | ¶ Na king bilong Sodom i tokim Ebram, Givim mi ol manmeri, na yu kisim ol kago long yu yet. | And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. |
| 22 | Na Ebram i tokim king bilong Sodom, Mi bin litimapim han bilong mi i go long BIKPELA, God i antap olgeta, husat i holimpas heven na dispela graun, | And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, |

Larim ol kisim hap skel bilong ol. | Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion. |
