절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Man, husat ol i wok long stretim em planti taim na em i strongim nek bilong em, wantu tasol ol bai bagarapim em olgeta, na dispela i no gat rot long oraitim. He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
¶ Taim ol stretpela man i gat namba, ol manmeri i wokim amamas tru. Tasol taim ol man nogut i bosim ol arapela, ol manmeri i soim sori. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
¶ Husat man i laikim tru save tru i amamasim tru papa bilong en. Tasol em husat i poroman wantaim ol pamuk meri i yusim ol mani samting bilong en. Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance.
¶ Long pasin bilong jasim, king i strongim hap em i bosim. Tasol em husat i kisim ol presen i bagarapim dispela. The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.
¶ Man husat i grisim man i stap klostu long em i opim umben long tupela lek bilong en. A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.
¶ Long pasin bilong kalapim lo bilong man nogut i gat wanpela trap. Tasol ol stretpela man i singim song na wokim amamas tru. In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
¶ Ol stretpela man i tingim na skelim wari bilong rabisman. Tasol man nogut i no gat tingim gut long save long en. The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.
¶ Ol man bilong tok bilas i bringim biktaun i go long trap. Tasol ol saveman i tanim i go belhat tru. Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.
¶ Sapos saveman i pait wantaim krankiman, maski em i belhat nogut tru o em i lap, i no gat malolo. If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
¶ Man i hangre long kapsaitim blut i no laikim tru stretpela man. Tasol stretpela man i wok long painim tewel bilong em. The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
¶ Krankiman i autim olgeta tingting bilong em. Tasol saveman i holimpas dispela insait inap long bihain. A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
¶ Sapos hetman i harim ol tok giaman, olgeta wokboi bilong em i nogut. If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
¶ Rabisman na man bilong giaman i bung wantaim. BIKPELA i givim lait long ol ai bilong tupela wantaim. The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the Lord lighteneth both their eyes.
¶ King husat i jasim ol rabisman long pasin yu inap bilip long en, sia king bilong em bai stap strong oltaim oltaim. The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
¶ Kanda na tok stretim i givim save tru. Tasol pikinini ol i larim i stap long em yet i bringim sem i kam long mama bilong em. The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
¶ Taim ol man nogut i kamap planti moa, pasin bilong kalapim lo i kamap bikpela moa. Tasol ol stretpela man bai lukim ol i pundaun. When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
¶ Stretim pikinini man bilong yu, na em bai givim yu malolo. Yes, em bai givim gutpela amamas long tewel bilong yu. Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.
¶ We i no gat driman samting, ol manmeri i dai olgeta. Tasol em husat i holimpas lo, em i gat amamas. Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
¶ Ol toktok bai i no inap stretim wokboi. Long wanem, maski em i kisim save, em bai i no inap bekim tok. A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will not answer.
¶ Yu lukim man husat i hariap long ol toktok bilong em? I gat hop moa long krankiman long em. Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
¶ Em husat i stat long lukautim gut isi isi wokboi bilong em taim em i pikinini yet bai mekim em i kamap pikinini man bilong em bihain. He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.
¶ Man i belhat i kirapim pait, na man i belhat nogut tru i pulap long pasin bilong kalapim lo. An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
¶ Hambak pasin bilong man bai bringim em daunbilo. Tasol ona bai strongim man bilong daunim em yet long spirit. A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
¶ Husat man i poroman wantaim stilman i no laikim tru tewel bilong em yet. Em i harim tok nogut, na em i no soim dispela ples klia. Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.
¶ Pret long man i bringim trap. Tasol husat man i putim bilip bilong en long BIKPELA bai stap gut. The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.
¶ Planti man i painim gutpela amamas bilong hetman. Tasol pasin bilong skelim bilong olgeta wan wan man i kam long BIKPELA. Many seek the ruler’s favour; but every man’s judgment cometh from the Lord.
¶ Man i no stretpela em i sting samting long stretpela man. Na em husat i stap stretpela long rot em i sting samting long man nogut. An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
