¶ Nau Jop i bekim BIKPELA, na tok, | Then Job answered the Lord, and said,
Mi save long Yu ken mekim olgeta wan wan samting, na long i no gat wanpela tingting man em inap long holim bek long Yu. | I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.
Em i husat, husat i haitim tok helpim na i no gat save? Olsem na mi bin toktok long dispela mi no gat gutpela save long en, ol samting i winim tingting tumas long mi, dispela mi no save. | Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
Harim, mi askim Yu long daun pasin, na mi bai toktok. Mi bai askim strong long Yu, na Yu tokaut long mi. | Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
Mi bin harim long Yu long harim bilong ia, tasol nau ai bilong mi i lukim Yu. | I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
Olsem na mi ting mi yet i sting olgeta, na mi tanim bel long das na ol sit bilong paia. | Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
¶ Na em i stap olsem, long bihain long BIKPELA i bin tokim ol dispela toktok i go long Jop, BIKPELA i tokim man Timan Elifas, Belhat tru bilong Mi i kirap na birua long yu, na i birua long tupela wantok bilong yu. Long wanem, yupela i no bin toktok long sait bilong Mi long dispela samting i stretpela, olsem wokboi bilong Mi Jop i mekim. | And it was so, that after the Lord had spoken these words unto Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
Olsem na kisim i kam long yupela nau sevenpela bulmakau man na sevenpela meme man, na go long wokboi bilong Mi Jop, na ofaim bilong yupela yet wanpela ofa i kuk olgeta. Na wokboi bilong Mi Jop bai beten bilong helpim yupela. Long wanem, em bai Mi orait long en. Nogut Mi mekim save long yupela i bihainim longlong pasin bilong yupela, long dispela, yupela i no bin toktok long sait bilong Mi dispela samting i stretpela, olsem wokboi bilong Mi Jop. | Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.
Olsem na man Timan Elifas na man Suak Bildat na man Neman Sofar i go, na mekim bilong bihainim samting BIKPELA i tok strong long ol. BIKPELA tu i orait long beten bilong Jop. | So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the Lord commanded them: the Lord also accepted Job.
¶ Na BIKPELA i tanim kalabus bilong Jop, taim em i beten bilong helpim tripela wantok bilong em. Na tu BIKPELA i givim Jop tupela taims long hamas em i gat bipo. | And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Nau i kam long em olgeta brata bilong em, na olgeta susa bilong em, na olgeta husat i bin save long em bipo, na ol i bin kaikai bret wantaim em long haus bilong em. Na ol i krai sori long em, na givim bel isi long em long sait bilong olgeta samting nogut long BIKPELA i bin bringim i kam antap long em. Olgeta wan wan man tu i givim em wanpela hap mani, na olgeta wan wan wanpela ring gol bilong ia. | Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
Olsem tasol BIKPELA i blesim las hap bilong Jop moa long stat bilong em. Long wanem, em i gat 14,000 sipsip, na 6,000 kemel, na 1,000 yok bulmakau man, na 1,000 donki meri. | So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
Em i gat tu sevenpela pikinini man na tripela pikinini meri. | He had also seven sons and three daughters.
Na em i kolim nem bilong namba wan, Jemaima. Na nem bilong namba tu, Kesaia. Na nem bilong namba tri, Keren-hapuk. | And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren–happuch.
Na long olgeta dispela hap ol i no lukim ol meri i naispela olsem ol pikinini meri bilong Jop. Na papa bilong ol i givim ol ol samting papa i givim pikinini namel long ol brata bilong ol. | And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
Bihain long dispela Jop i stap laip 140 yia, na lukim ol pikinini man bilong em, na ol pikinini man bilong ol pikinini man bilong em, yes, inap long fopela lain tumbuna. | After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations.
Olsem na Jop i dai pinis, taim em i lapun na pulap wantaim ol de. | So Job died, being old and full of days.
