| 4 | Long wanem, yu bin tok, Skul bilong mi em i klin, na mi stap klin long tupela ai bilong Yu. | For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes. |

Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth. |

| 14 | Sapos sin nogut i stap long han bilong yu, putim dispela i go longwe, na no ken larim pasin nogut stap long ol haus holi bilong yu. | If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles. |
| 15 | Long wanem, nau bai yu litimapim pes bilong yu taim i no gat mak, yes, yu bai sanap strong, na yu no inap pret. | For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear: |
| 16 | Bilong wanem, yu bai lusim tingting long hevi nogut bilong yu, na holim tingting long en olsem ol wara i ran i go pinis olgeta. | Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away: |
| 17 | Na ol krismas bilong yu bai stap klia moa long belo stret. Yu bai lait i go ausait, yu bai stap olsem moningtaim. | And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning. |
| 18 | Na yu bai stap gut tru, bilong wanem, i gat hop. Yes, yu bai digim nabaut long yu, na yu bai stap orait tru long malolo bilong yu yu kisim. | And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. |
| 19 | Na tu yu bai slipim bodi, na i no gat wanpela man bai mekim yu pret. Yes, planti bai kam bilong poromanim yu. | Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee. |
| 20 | Tasol ol ai bilong ol man nogut bai fel, na ol bai i no inap ranawe, na hop bilong ol bai stap olsem man i givim i go spirit. | But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost. |
