Tasol em bai stap long ol ples i drai olgeta long ples i no gat man, insait long wanpela hap i sol na i no gat man i stap. | For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. |
| 7 | Blesing i stap long man husat i putim bilip long BIKPELA, na husat hop bilong em i stap long BIKPELA. | Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. |

Na em bai i no inap wari long yia bilong taim drai, na tu em bai i no inap lusim pasin bilong putim kaikai. | For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. |

| 13 | O BIKPELA, hop bilong Isrel, olgeta husat i givim baksait long Yu bai gat sem, na ol husat i lusim mi bai ol i raitim nem bilong ol long dispela graun, bilong wanem, ol i bin givim baksait long BIKPELA, ai bilong ol wara i sut i stap laip. | O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters. |

| 21 | BIKPELA i tok olsem, Was gut long yupela yet, na yupela i no ken karim wanpela hevi samting long de sabat, o bringim dispela i kam insait long ol dua bilong banis bilong Jerusalem. | Thus saith the Lord; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; |
| 22 | Na tu yupela i no ken karim wanpela hevi samting ausait long ol haus bilong yupela long de sabat, na tu yupela i no ken mekim sampela wok, tasol yupela mas mekim de sabat i kamap holi olgeta, olsem Mi tok strong long ol tumbuna papa bilong yupela. | Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. |
| 23 | Tasol ol i no bihainim, na tu ol i no lindaunim ia bilong ol, tasol ol i mekim nek bilong ol strong, inap long ol i no ken harim, o kisim skul. | But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction. |
| 24 | Na em bai kamap olsem, sapos yupela i strong long harim Mi, BIKPELA i tok, inap long yupela i no bringim wanpela hevi samting i kam namel long ol dua bilong banis bilong dispela biktaun long de sabat, tasol yupela mekim de sabat i kamap holi olgeta, inap long yupela i no mekim sampela wok long en, | And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the Lord, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein; |

Ol bai ran insait long ol karis na antap long ol hos, ol, na ol hetman bilong ol, ol man bilong Juda, na ol man i stap long Jerusalem. Na dispela biktaun bai stap yet oltaim oltaim. | Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever. |
