| 2 | Yu no ken maritim wanpela meri, na tu yu no ken kamapim ol pikinini man o ol pikinini meri long dispela ples. | Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place. |
| 3 | Long wanem, BIKPELA i tok olsem long sait bilong ol pikinini man na long sait bilong ol pikinini meri husat ol i karim long dispela ples, na long sait bilong ol mama bilong ol husat i karim ol, na long ol papa bilong ol husat i kamapim ol long dispela hap, | For thus saith the Lord concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land; |

Tasol ol bai stap olsem pekpek antap long pes bilong dispela graun. Na bainat na bikpela taim hangre bai kaikai ol olgeta. Na ol daibodi bilong ol bai stap abus bilong ol pisin bilong heven, na bilong ol animal bilong dispela graun. | They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. |

Long wanem, Mi bin tekewe bel isi bilong Mi long dispela lain manmeri, BIKPELA i tok, yes, pasin bilong laikim tru na mekim gut na ol sori. | For thus saith the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord, even lovingkindness and mercies. |

Ol man bai i no inap planim ol, na tu ol man bai i no inap krai sori long ol, o katim ol yet, o mekim ol yet kela long tingim ol. | Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them: |

Na tu ol man bai i no inap givim ol dispela kap bilong kisim bel isi bilong dringim long tingim papa bilong ol o long tingim mama bilong ol. | Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother. |
| 8 | Yu no ken go insait tu long haus bilong bikpela kaikai, long sindaun wantaim ol long kaikai na dring. | Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink. |
| 9 | Long wanem, BIKPELA bilong ol ami, God bilong Isrel, i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi bai mekim long pinis ausait long dispela ples long ol ai bilong yu na long taim bilong yu, nek bilong lap, na nek bilong amamas, nek bilong man i laik marit, na nek bilong meri i laik marit. | For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride. |

O sin bilong mipela, dispela mipela bin mekim i birua long BIKPELA, God bilong mipela, em wanem? | And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God? |
| 11 | Nau bai yu tokim ol, Bilong wanem, ol tumbuna papa bilong yupela i bin givim baksait long Mi, BIKPELA i tok, na ol i bin wokabaut i bihainim ol arapela god, na ol i bin bihainim ol, na ol i bin lotuim ol, na ol i bin givim baksait long Mi, na ol i no bin holimpas lo bilong Mi. | Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; |
| 12 | Na yupela i bin mekim pasin i nogut moa long ol tumbuna papa bilong yupela. Long wanem, lukim, yupela olgeta wan wan i wokabaut i bihainim tingting nating bilong bel nogut bilong em yet, inap long ol i no ken harim Mi. | And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: |

Na long dispela hap yupela bai bihainim ol arapela god san na nait. Em i ples we Mi no inap helpim yupela. | Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. |
| 14 | ¶ Olsem na, lukim, ol de i kam, BIKPELA i tok, long ol bai i no inap tok moa, BIKPELA i stap laip, husat i bringim ol pikinini bilong Isrel i kam antap ausait long hap bilong Isip. | Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be said, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; |

Na Mi bai bringim ol gen long hap bilong ol, dispela Mi givim long ol tumbuna papa bilong ol. | But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. |

Na bihain bai Mi salim tok long ol man bilong painim abus, na ol bai painim ol long olgeta wan wan maunten, na long olgeta wan wan liklik maunten, na ausait long ol hul bilong ol ston. | Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. |
| 17 | Long wanem, ol ai bilong Mi i stap antap long olgeta pasin bilong ol. Ol i no stap hait long pes bilong Mi, na tu ol sin nogut bilong ol i no stap hait long ai bilong Mi. | For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. |

Bilong wanem, ol i bin mekim hap bilong Mi doti, ol i bin pulapim hap bilong Mi olsem samting papa i givim pikinini wantaim ol daibodi bilong ol samting bilong tingting nogut long en na ol sting samting. | And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. |
| 19 | O BIKPELA, strong bilong mi, na strongpela ples hait bilong mi, na ples hait bilong mi long de bilong kisim hevi, ol man i no Ju bai kam long Yu long ol las hap bilong dispela graun, na ol bai tok, Tru tumas, ol tumbuna papa bilong mipela i bin kisim ol giaman olsem samting papa i givim pikinini, ol samting nating, na ol samting we i no gat helpim long en. | O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. |

Na ol bai save long nem bilong Mi em BIKPELA. | Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The Lord. |
