절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Na, lukim, i gat wanpela man bilong God i kam ausait long Juda, long tok bilong BIKPELA, i kam long Betel. Na Jeroboam i sanap klostu long dispela alta long kukim insens. And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Beth–el: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.
Na em i singaut birua long dispela alta long tok bilong BIKPELA, na tok, O alta, alta, BIKPELA i tok olsem, Lukim, wanpela mama bai karim wanpela pikinini man long hauslain bilong Devit, nem bilong en em Josaia. Na antap long yu em bai ofaim ol pris bilong ol ples antap husat i kukim insens antap long yu, na ol bun bilong ol man bai em i kukim olgeta antap long yu. And he cried against the altar in the word of the Lord, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burnt upon thee.
Na em i givim wanpela mak long dispela de stret, i spik, Dispela em i dispela mak BIKPELA i bin toktok long en. Lukim, dispela alta bai bruk, na dispela ol sit bilong paia bilong en i stap antap long en bai kapsait i go ausait. And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the Lord hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.
Na em i kamap olsem, taim king Jeroboam i harim toktok bilong dispela man bilong God, dispela em i bin singaut birua long alta long Betel, long em i putim han bilong em ausait i lusim alta i go, i spik, Holimpas em. Na han bilong em, dispela em i putim i go birua long em, i go drai, inap long em i no inap long pulim dispela i kam long em gen. And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Beth–el, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.
Dispela alta tu i bruk, na ol sut bilong pait i kapsait ausait long alta, bilong bihainim mak dispela man bilong God i bin givim long tok bilong BIKPELA. The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the Lord.
Na king i bekim na tokim dispela man bilong God, Mekim strongpela askim nau long pes bilong BIKPELA, God bilong yu, na beten long mi, inap long han bilong mi i ken kamap orait long mi gen. Na dispela man bilong God i askim BIKPELA long daun pasin, na han bilong king i kamap orait long em gen, na kamap olsem em i stap bipo. And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the Lord thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the Lord, and the king’s hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.
Na king i tokim dispela man bilong God, Yu kam wantaim mi long haus, na strongim yu yet gen, na mi bai givim wanpela pe long yu. And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.
Na dispela man bilong God i tokim king, Sapos yu laik givim mi namba tu hap bilong haus bilong yu, Mi bai i no inap go insait wantaim yu, na tu mi bai i no inap kaikai bret o dring wara long dispela ples. And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:
Long wanem, tok bilong BIKPELA i givim tok long mi olsem, i spik, No ken kaikai bret, o dring wara, o tanim gen long dispela rot stret yu bin kam long en. For so was it charged me by the word of the Lord, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.
Olsem na em i go long narapela rot, na em i no go bek long dispela rot em i kam long en long Betel. So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Beth–el.
¶ Nau i gat wanpela lapun profet i stap long Betel. Na ol pikinini man bilong em i kam na tokim em long olgeta wok long dispela man bilong God i bin mekim dispela de long Betel. Ol dispela toktok em i bin toktok i go long king, ol tu ol i tokim papa bilong ol long ol. Now there dwelt an old prophet in Beth–el; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Beth–el: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father.
Na papa bilong ol i tokim ol, Em i bihainim wanem rot? Long wanem, ol pikinini man bilong em i bin luksave long wanem rot dispela man bilong God, husat i kam long Juda, i go long en. And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.
Na em i tokim ol pikinini man bilong em, Putim sia long donki bilong helpim mi. Olsem na ol i putim sia long donki bilong helpim em. Na em i ran antap long en, And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,
Na go bihainim dispela man bilong God, na painim em pinis taim em i sindaun aninit long wanpela ok. Na em i tokim em, Ating yu dispela man bilong God husat i kam long Juda, a? Na em i tok, Mi stap. And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.
Nau em i tokim em, Kam long haus wantaim mi, na kaikai bret. Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.
Na em i tok, Mi no ken go bek wantaim yu, o go insait wantaim yu. Na tu mi bai i no inap kaikai bret o dring wara wantaim yu long dispela ples. And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:
Long wanem, tok bilong BIKPELA i tokim mi long dispela, Yu no inap kaikai bret o dring wara long dispela hap, o tanim gen long go long dispela rot yu kam long en. For it was said to me by the word of the Lord, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.
Em i tokim em, Mi wanpela profet tu olsem yu stap, na wanpela ensel i toktok long mi long tok bilong BIKPELA, i spik, Bringim em i kam bek wantaim yu i kam insait long haus bilong yu, inap long em i ken kaikai bret na dring wara. Tasol em i giamanim em. He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.
Olsem na em i kam bek wantaim em, na em i bin kaikai bret insait long haus bilong em, na dring wara. So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.
Na em i kamap olsem, taim ol i sindaun long tebol, long tok bilong BIKPELA i kam long dispela profet husat i bringim em i kam bek. And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the Lord came unto the prophet that brought him back:
Na em i singaut i go long man bilong God husat i kam ausait long Juda, i spik, BIKPELA i tok olsem, Bikos yu bin sakim tok bilong maus bilong BIKPELA, na yu no bin holimpas dispela tok strong BIKPELA, God bilong yu, i tok strong long yu, And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord, and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee,
Tasol yu kam bek, na yu bin kaikai bret na dring wara long dispela ples, dispela BIKPELA i bin tokim yu long en, No ken kaikai bret, na no ken dringim wara, orait daibodi bilong yu bai i no inap kam long matmat bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong yu. But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.
¶ Na em i kamap olsem, bihain long em i bin kaikai bret, na bihain long em i bin dring, long em i putim sia antap long donki bilong helpim em, em i olsem, bilong helpim dispela profet husat em i bin bringim i kam bek. And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.
Na taim em i go pinis, wanpela laion i bungim em long rot, na kilim em i dai. Na lion i tromoi daibodi bilong em i go long rot, na donki i sanap klostu long dispela. Laion tu i sanap klostu long daibodi. And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.
Na, lukim, ol man i wokabaut klostu, na lukim dispela daibodi lion i tromoi long rot, na laion i sanap klostu long daibodi. Na ol i kam na stori long dispela long biktaun we dispela lapun profet i stap. And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.
Na taim dispela profet husat i bringim em i kam bek long rot i harim long en, em i tok, Dispela em i dispela man bilong God, husat i sakim tok bilong BIKPELA. Olsem na BIKPELA i bin givim em long han bilong laion, husat i bin brukim em, na kilim em i dai, bilong bihainim tok bilong BIKPELA, dispela Em i tokim em. And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the Lord: therefore the Lord hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake unto him.
Na em i tokim ol pikinini man bilong em, i spik, Putim sia antap long donki bilong helpim mi. Olsem na ol i putim sia antap bilong helpim em. And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.
Na em i go na lukim daibodi bilong em i stap nating long rot, na dispela donki na dispela laion i sanap klostu long daibodi. Laion i no bin kaikai long daibodi, o brukim donki. And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.
Na dispela profet i kisim daibodi bilong dispela man bilong God i go antap, na slipim dispela antap long donki, na bringim em i kam bek. Na dispela lapun profet i kam long biktaun, long soim sori na long planim em. And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.
Na em i slipim daibodi bilong em long matmat bilong em yet. Na ol i soim sori antap long em, i spik, Sori tru, brata bilong mi! And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother!
Na em i kamap olsem, bihain long em i bin planim em, long em i tokim ol pikinini man bilong em, i spik, Taim mi dai pinis, orait planim mi long matmat we mi planim dispela man bilong God long en. Slipim ol bun bilong mi klostu long ol bun bilong em. And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones:
Long wanem, dispela toktok em i singaut long tok bilong BIKPELA i birua long alta long Betel, na i birua long olgeta haus bilong ol ples antap, dispela i stap long ol biktaun bilong Samaria, tru tumas, bai kamap. For the saying which he cried by the word of the Lord against the altar in Beth–el, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.
Bihain long dispela samting, Jeroboam i no tanim na lusim rot nogut bilong em, tasol em i mekim gen ol pris bilong ol ples antap i kamap long ol lain i no gat namba olgeta. Husat man i gat laik, em i mekim em holi, na em i kamap wanpela bilong ol pris bilong ol ples antap. After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.
Na dispela samting i kamap sin long hauslain bilong Jeroboam, yes, long rausim em i go, na bilong bagarapim dispela olgeta i lusim long pes bilong dispela graun. And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
