1 ¶ Na moa tu Devit na ol kepten bilong ami i brukim i go long wok bilong ol pikinini man bilong Esap, na bilong Heman, na bilong Jedutun, husat i ken autim tok profet wantaim ol harp, wantaim ol kain gita, na wantaim ol simbol. Na namba bilong ol wokman bilong bihainim wok bilong ol em, Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:
2 Bilong ol pikinini man bilong Esap, Sakur, na Josep, na Netanaia, na Asarela, ol pikinini man bilong Esap aninit long han bilong Esap, husat i autim tok profet bilong bihainim oda bilong king. Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.
3 Bilong Jedutun, ol pikinini man bilong Jedutun, Gedalaia, na Seri, na Jesea, Hasabaia, na Matitaia, sikispela, aninit long han bilong papa bilong ol Jedutun, husat i autim tok profet wantaim wanpela harp, bilong givim tok tenkyu na bilong litimapim nem bilong BIKPELA. Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
4 Bilong Heman, ol pikinini man bilong Heman, Bukaia, Matanaia, Usiel, Sebyuel, na Jerimot, Hananaia, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, na Romamtieser, Josbekasa, Maloti, Hotir, na Mahasiot. Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti–ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
5 Olgeta dispela em ol pikinini man bilong Heman, sia bilong king long ol tok bilong God, long litimapim kom. Na God i givim Heman 14 pikinini man na tripela pikinini meri. All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 Olgeta dispela i stap aninit long han bilong papa bilong ol bilong song insait long haus bilong BIKPELA, wantaim ol simbol, ol kain gita, na ol harp, bilong wok bilong haus bilong God, bilong bihainim oda bilong king i go long Esap, Jedutun, na Heman. All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
