| 2 | Toktok long ol pikinini bilong Isrel, i spik, Makim bilong yupela ol biktaun bilong hait, we Mi toktok pinis long yupela long han bilong Moses long ol, | Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint out for you cities of refuge, whereof I spake unto you by the hand of Moses: |
| 3 | Inap long man husat i kilim i dai wanpela man taim man i no save, na em i no tingting pastaim na mekim, i ken ranawe long dispela hap. Na ol bai stap ples hait bilong yupela long man bilong bekim pe nogut bilong blut. | That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may flee thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. |
| 4 | Na taim em husat i ranawe i go long wanpela bilong ol dispela biktaun bai sanap long ai bilong dua bilong banis bilong biktaun, na em bai tokaut long wari bilong em long ol ia bilong ol lapun hetman bilong biktaun, ol bai kisim em i go insait long biktaun i go long ol, na givim em wanpela ples, inap long em i ken stap namel long ol. | And when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. |

Nau bai man i kilim man i dai i go bek, na kamap long biktaun bilong em yet, na go long haus bilong em yet, i go long dispela biktaun we em i bin lusim i ranawe long en. | And he shall dwell in that city, until he stand before the congregation for judgment, and until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days: then shall the slayer return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own house, unto the city from whence he fled. |

| 8 | Na long hapsait long Jordan klostu long Jeriko i go long hap is, ol i makim Beser long ples i no gat man antap long ples stret ausait long lain bilong Ruben, na Ramot long Gileat ausait long lain bilong Gat, na Golan long Basan ausait long lain bilong Manasa. | And on the other side Jordan by Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh. |
