| 2 | Na long ol king husat i stap long hap not bilong ol maunten, na bilong ol ples stret bilong hap saut bilong Kinerot, na long ples daun, na long ol hap arere bilong Dor long hap wes, | And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west, |
| 3 | Na long lain Kenan long hap is na long hap wes, na long lain Amor, na lain Hit, na lain Peris, na lain Jebus long ol maunten, na long lain Hiv aninit long Hermon long dispela hap bilong Mispa. | And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh. |

Yu bai katim rop bilong lek bilong ol hos bilong ol, na kukim ol karis bilong ol wantaim paia. | And the Lord said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. |

Na ol i paitim ol, inap long ol i no lusim wanpela i stap yet. | And the Lord delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephoth–maim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining. |

Long wanem, long taim bipo Hesor em i het bilong olgeta ol dispela hap bilong ol king. | And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms. |

Na em i kukim Hesor olgeta wantaim paia. | And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire. |
| 12 | Na olgeta biktaun bilong ol dispela king, na olgeta king bilong ol, Josua i bin kisim, na paitim ol wantaim sap bilong bainat, na em i bagarapim ol olgeta, olsem Moses, wokboi bilong BIKPELA, i tok strong. | And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the Lord commanded. |

Tasol olgeta wan wan man ol i paitim wantaim sap bilong bainat, inap long ol i bin bagarapim ol olgeta, na tu ol i no lusim wanpela i stap long pulim win. | And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe. |
| 15 | ¶ Olsem BIKPELA i tok strong long Moses, wokboi bilong Em, olsem tasol Moses i bin tok strong long Josua, na olsem tasol Josua i mekim. Em i no lusim wanpela samting we em i no mekim bilong olgeta samting BIKPELA i tok strong long Moses. | As the Lord commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the Lord commanded Moses. |
| 16 | Olsem na Josua i kisim olgeta dispela hap, ol liklik maunten, na olgeta hap bilong hap saut, na olgeta hap bilong Gosen, na ples daun, na ples stret, na maunten bilong Isrel, na ples daun bilong dispela stret. | So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same; |
| 17 | Yes, i stat long maunten Halak, dispela i go antap long Seir, yes, i go inap long Beal-gat long ples daun bilong Lebanon aninit long maunten Hermon. Na olgeta king bilong ol em i kisim, na paitim ol, na kilim ol i dai. | Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baal–gad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them. |

Olgeta arapela ol i kisim long pait. | There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle. |
| 20 | Long wanem, dispela em i bilong BIKPELA long mekim ol bel bilong ol i kamap strong, inap long ol i ken kam na pait birua long Isrel long pait, inap long em i ken bagarapim ol olgeta, na long ol i no ken painim gutpela amamas long ai bilong em, tasol long em i ken bagarapim ol olgeta, olsem BIKPELA i tok strong long Moses. | For it was of the Lord to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
| 21 | Na long dispela taim Josua i kam, na rausim olgeta ol lain Anak long ol maunten, long Hibron, long Debir, long Anap, na long olgeta maunten bilong Juda, na long olgeta maunten bilong Isrel. Josua i bagarapim ol olgeta wantaim ol biktaun bilong ol. | And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities. |

Na dispela hap i gat malolo long bikpela pait. | So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the Lord said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war. |
