Ol i gat ol biktaun i bikpela tru na ol i gat banis i go antap long heven. | Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven, |

Ol i ol pikinini bilong Anak na yu save long em na yu bin harim tok long ol olsem, Husat inap long sanap long pes bilong ol pikinini bilong Anak! | A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak! |

Em i olsem wanpela paia i kukim ol samting na Em bai bagarapim ol na Em bai bringim ol daun long pes bilong yu, olsem bai yu rausim ol na bagarapim ol kwiktaim, olsem BIKPELA i bin tok long yu. | Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee. |

Tasol pasin nogut bilong ol dispela kantri em i as bilong BIKPELA i rausim ol long pes bilong yu. | Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the Lord thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the Lord hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord doth drive them out from before thee. |

Tasol em long pasin nogut bilong ol dispela kantri BIKPELA i rausim ol long pes bilong yu, na long Em i ken bihainim dispela tok BIKPELA i bin tok tru antap long dispela long ol papa bilong yu, Em Ebraham, na Aisak na Jekop. | Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. |

| 7 | ¶ Holim tingting na no ken lusim tingting long we yu bin kirapim belhat long God BIKPELA bilong yu long ples i no gat man i go long de yu bin lusim graun bilong Isip inap long yupela i kamap long dispela ples, yupela i sakim tok bilong BIKPELA. | Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the Lord thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the Lord. |

Long dispela taim mi stap long maunten foti de na foti nait, na mi no kaikai bret o dring wara. | When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the Lord made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water: |
| 10 | Na BIKPELA i givim long mi tupela hap ston, pinga bilong God i bin rait long tupela na long tupela ol rait i tokaut long olgeta tok BIKPELA i tokim yupela long maunten, na tok i kamaut long namel long paia long de bilong dispela bung. | And the Lord delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the Lord spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. |

Kwiktaim ol i tanim bilong lusim we Mi bin givim strongpela tok long ol long dispela. Ol i bin kukim bilong wokim wanpela piksa long god giaman. | And the Lord said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image. |

Na bai Mi kirapim long yu wanpela kantri i strongpela moa na bikpela moa long ol. | Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they. |
| 15 | Olsem na mi tanim mi yet na kam daun long maunten, na dispela maunten i kuk long paia. Na tupela hap ston bilong kontrak i stap long tupela han bilong mi. | So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with fire: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands. |
| 16 | Na mi lukluk na harim, yupela i bin mekim sin long God BIKPELA bilong yupela , na yupela i bin wokim long paia wanpela piksa long pikinini bulmakau. Kwiktaim yupela i bin tanim long lusim dispela we BIKPELA i bin givim strongpela tok long yupela long dispela. | And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the Lord your God, and had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the Lord had commanded you. |
| 17 | Na mi kisim tupela hap ston na tromoi tupela long lusim tupela han bilong mi na brukim tupela long ol ai bilong yupela. | And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes. |

Mi no bin kaikai bret o dring wara, na as bilong olgeta bilong dispela em i ol sin bilong yupela. Na ol sin bilong yupela i olsem, long yupela i mekim pasin nogut long ai bilong BIKPELA long kirapim Em long belhat | And I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger. |

Tasol BIKPELA i harim tok bilong mi long dispela taim tu. | For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the Lord was wroth against you to destroy you. But the Lord hearkened unto me at that time also. |

| 21 | Na mi kisim sin bilong yupela, em dispela piksa long pikinini bulmakau, yupela i bin wokim dispela, na mi kukim dispela long paia, na paitim dispela long lek na brukbrukim dispela inap long em i kamap ol liklik hap, yes inap long em i kamap liklik tru olsem das. Na mi tromoi dispela das long dispela i go long liklik wara riva i kamdaun ausait long maunten. | And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount. |
| 22 | Na long Tabera na long Masa na long Kibrot-hatava yupela i bin kirapim BIKPELA long belhat. | And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibroth–hattaavah, ye provoked the Lord to wrath. |

Long dispela taim yupela i sakim strongpela tok bilong God BIKPELA bilong yupela na yupela i no bilipim Em, o harim nek bilong Em. | Likewise when the Lord sent you from Kadesh–barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the Lord your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice. |
| 24 | Yupela i bin sakim tok bilong BIKPELA long de mi kisim save long yupela inap long nau. | Ye have been rebellious against the Lord from the day that I knew you. |
| 25 | Olsem mi pundaun long pes bilong BIKPELA foti de na foti nait, olsem mi pundaun long namba wan taim, long wanem BIKPELA i bin tok long Em bai bagarapim yupela. | Thus I fell down before the Lord forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the Lord had said he would destroy you. |
| 26 | Olsem na, mi beten long BIKPELA, na tok, O Bikpela God, Yu no ken bagarapim ol manmeri bilong yu, na dispela samting Yu bin kisim. Yu bin baim bek ol long bikpela pasin bilong Yu, na Yu bin bringim ol i kamaut long Isip long strongpela han bilong Yu. | I prayed therefore unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand. |
| 27 | Holim tingting long ol wokboi bilong Yu, long Ebraham na Aisak na Jekop. Yu no ken lukluk long bikhet pasin bilong dispela manmeri, o long ol pasin nogut bilong ol, o long sin bilong ol. | Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin: |

| 29 | Yet ol i stap ol manmeri bilong Yu na ol samting yu bin kisim, na Yu bin bringim ol i kamaut long bikpela pawa bilong Yu, na long han Yu bin taitim. | Yet they are thy people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out by thy mighty power and by thy stretched out arm. |
