| 2 | Skul bilong mi bai kam daun olsem ren na tok bilong mi bai kamap olsem tuhat na olsem liklik ren i kam long yangpela kumu na olsem ren i kam long gras. | My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: |
| 3 | Bikos mi bai tokaut long nem bilong BIKPELA. Yupela i mas makim God bilong yumi em i bikpela. | Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. |

Em i mekim gutpela na stretpela pasin. | He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. |

Ating Em i no bin wokim yu na strongim yu, a? | Do ye thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee? |
| 7 | ¶ Tingim gen ol de bilong pastaim na tingim gut ol yia bilong planti lain. Askim papa bilong yu na em bai soim yu. Askim ol lapun hetman bilong yu na ol bai tokaut long yu. | Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee. |

Na Em i mekim em long dringim hani i kamaut long bikpela ston na wel i kamaut long bikpela ston flint, | He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; |
| 14 | Na kaikai bata bilong bulmakau na susu bilong sipsip wantaim gris bilong pikinini sipsip na sipsip man bilong lain i kamap long Basan na ol meme wantaim ol gris bilong insait bilong wit na yu bin dring wara bilong pikinini bilong diwai wain i no gat pipia long em. | Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape. |

| 18 | Yu no gat tingting long dispela Bikpela Ston i bin kirapim yu, na yu bin lusim tingting long God husat i wokim yu. | Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. |
| 19 | ¶ Na taim BIKPELA i lukim dispela, Em i tingim ol i lain nogut, na as bilong dispela i ol i givim hevi long ol pikinini man bilong Em na ol pikinini meri bilong Em. | And when the Lord saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. |
| 20 | Na Em i tok, Bai Mi haitim pes bilong Mi long ol. Bai Mi lukim pinis bilong ol i wanem samting. Long wanem ol i lain i bikhet tru na ol pikinini i no gat bilip tru insait long ol. | And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. |

Bai Mi kirapim ol long belhat long wanpela kranki kantri. | They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. |

Na tu bai Mi salim tit bilong ol animal long ol wantaim gip bilong ol snek bilong das. | They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust. |

| 26 | ¶ Mi tok, Mi laik tromoim ol long ol kona. Mi laik mekim pasin bilong tingim gen long ol i ken pinis long namel long ol man. | I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men: |
| 27 | Sapos i no long Mi pret long belhat bilong birua, nogut pasin bilong ol birua bilong ol i kamap narakain na nogut ol i tok, Han bilong mipela i antap na BIKPELA i no bin wokim olgeta bilong dispela. | Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the Lord hath not done all this. |
| 28 | Long wanem ol i kantri i no gat lain i givim gutpela tok save na tu i no gat wanpela bilong ol i gat gutpela save. | For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them. |

| 30 | Olsem wanem wanpela i ken ranim wan tausen na tupela i ken rausim ten tausen sapos i no tru, Bikpela Ston bilong ol i bin salim ol, na BIKPELA i bin pasim ol? | How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? |
| 31 | Long wanem bikpela ston bilong ol i no Bikpela Ston bilong yumi inap long ol birua bilong yumi, ol yet i stap jas long dispela. | For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. |
| 32 | Long wanem han bilong diwai wain bilong ol i bilong han bilong diwai wain bilong Sodom na bilong gaden bilong Gomora. Ol pikinini bilong diwai wain bilong ol i stap ol pikinini bilong diwai wain bilong samting bilong pait ol i kolim gal na ol bung bilong ol i gat pait. | For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter: |
| 33 | Wain bilong ol em i gip bilong ol dragon na strongpela marasin nogut bilong ol snek asp. | Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps. |
| 34 | Ating dispela i no stap samting bilong holim na tingim bilong Mi na em i pas namel long ples Mi holim ol samting, a? | Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures? |

Long wanem de bilong bagarap i stap klostu na ol samting bai i kamap long ol em i hariap. | To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. |
| 36 | Long wanem BIKPELA bai i stap jas bilong ol manmeri bilong Em na tanim bel bilong Em yet bilong helpim ol wokboi bilong Em, taim Em i lukim strong bilong ol i pinis na i no gat wanpela i pasim ol o i stap yet. | For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left. |

Larim ol i kirap na helpim yupela na stap lain bilong lukautim yupela. | Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection. |

Na i no gat wanpela i ken lusim ol long han bilong Mi. | See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. |
| 40 | Long wanem Mi litimapim han bilong Mi long heven na tok, Mi stap laip oltaim oltaim. | For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever. |
| 41 | Sapos Mi sapim bainat bilong Mi i lait planti na han bilong Mi i kisim pasin bilong wokim kot, bai Mi bekim pe nogut long ol birua bilong Mi na givim pe long ol i no laikim tru Mi. | If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me. |
| 42 | Bai Mi mekim ol spia bilong mi i pulap long blut na bainat bilong Mi bai kaikai mit, na dispela i kamap long blut bilong ol daiman na bilong ol kalabus long stat bilong bekim pe nogut long ol birua. | I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy. |

Na Em bai bekim pe nogut long ol birua bilong Em na Em bai pulap long sori long graun bilong Em na long ol manmeri bilong Em. | Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people. |
| 44 | ¶ Na Moses i kam na tokaut long olgeta tok bilong dispela song long ol ia bilong ol manmeri, em Moses na Hosea, pikinini man bilong Nun. | And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun. |

Long wanem yupela i no bin makim Mi namel long ol pikinini bilong Isrel. | Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah–Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel. |
