Na yumi bin raunim maunten Sir planti de. | Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the Lord spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days. |

| 3 | Yupela i bin raunim dispela maunten inap taim. Tanim yupela yet i go long hap not. | Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward. |
| 4 | Na yu mas givim strongpela tok long ol manmeri, na tok, Yupela bai wokabaut long arere bilong graun bilong ol brata bilong yupela, em ol pikinini bilong Iso husat stap long Sir, na ol bai pret long yupela. Olsem na yupela i mas lukaut gut long yupela yet. | And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: |
| 5 | Yupela i no ken kirapim belhat bilong ol. Long wanem bai Mi no givim graun bilong ol inap long mak bilong wanpela fut long yupela. Nogat. Long wanem Mi bin givim maunten Sir long Iso, bilong em i ken holim dispela. | Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession. |

| 7 | Long wanem God BIKPELA bilong yupela i bin givim blesing long yu long olgeta wok bilong han bilong yu. Em i save long wokabaut bilong yu namel long dispela bikpela ples i no gat man. Dispela foti yia God BIKPELA bilong yu i bin i stap wantaim yu, na yu no bin sot long wanpela samting. | For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing. |
| 8 | ¶ Na taim yumi i go klostu long ol brata bilong yumi, em ol pikinini bilong Iso, husat i stap long Sir long rot bilong ples stret i lusim Elat na i lusim Esion-geber, yumi bin tanim na go long rot bilong ples i no gat man bilong Moap. | And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion–gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab. |
| 9 | Na BIKPELA i tok long mi, No ken givim hevi long ol Moap, na tu no ken pait wantaim ol long woa. Long wanem bai Mi no givim ol graun bilong ol long yu bilong holim. Long wanem Mi bin givim Ar long ol pikinini bilong Lot bilong holim. | And the Lord said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession. |
| 10 | Ol Imim i bin i stap long dispela hap pastaim. Ol i manmeri i bikpela na planti na longpela, olsem ol Anak. | The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; |
| 11 | Ol man tu i tingim ol i traipela manmeri, olsem ol Anak, tasol ol Moap i kolim ol, ol Imim. | Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims. |
| 12 | Na tu ol Horim i bin i stap long Sir pastaim, tasol ol pikinini bilong Iso i kisim graun bilong ol taim ol i bin bagarapim ol long pes bilong ol. Na ol lain bilong Iso i bin stap long graun bilong ol, olsem Isrel i mekim long kisim ol graun BIKPELA i givim long ol. | The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the Lord gave unto them. |

Em inap long olgeta lain bilong ol man bilong mekim woa i dai na lusim bikpela ami bilong Isrel, olsem BIKPELA i bin tok tru antap i go long ol. | And the space in which we came from Kadesh–barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the Lord sware unto them. |
| 15 | Long wanem, tru tumas han bilong BIKPELA i stap birua long ol long bagarapim ol long i stap namel long bikpela ami, inap long ol i pinis olgeta. | For indeed the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed. |
| 16 | Na em i kamap olsem, taim olgeta bilong ol man bilong woa i pinis olgeta na dai pinis long namel long ol manmeri, | So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people, |
| 17 | Orait BIKPELA i tok long mi, na tok, | That the Lord spake unto me, saying, |
| 18 | Dispela de yu mas winim dispela na go long Ar na long arere bilong Moap na winim dispela. | Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day: |
| 19 | Na taim yu kam klostu long arere bilong graun bilong ol pikinini bilong Amon, yu no ken givim hevi long ol, o mekim ol i belhat. Long wanem Mi no laik givim yu wanpela hap bilong graun bilong ol pikinini bilong Amon long holim. As bilong dispela em i Mi bin givim dispela long ol pikinini bilong Lot bilong holim. | And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession. |
| 20 | Na tu dispela graun i bin i stap graun bilong ol traipela man. Ol traipela man i bin i stap long taim bipo tru, na ol Amon i makim ol, lain bilong Samsum. | (That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims; |

Tasol BIKPELA i bagarapim ol long pes bilong ol Amon, na ol i kisim graun bilong ol, na stap long hap bilong ol. | A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the Lord destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead: |
| 22 | Olsem Em i bin mekim long ol pikinini bilong Iso, husat i stap long Sir, taim Em i bagarapim ol Hor long pes bilong ol, na ol i kisim graun bilong ol na stap long hap bilong ol inap long dispela de. | As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day: |
| 23 | Na ol Avim husat i stap long Haserim inap long Asa, ol Kaptor, em lain i kam long hap Kaptor, ol i bagarapim ol na stap long hap bilong ol. | And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.) |
| 24 | ¶ Yupela kirap na mekim wokabaut bilong yupela na go hapsait long wara riva Arnon. Harim, Mi bin givim i go long yu, Saihon, dispela man Amor, em king bilong Hesbon, wantaim ol graun bilong em. Stat long kisim dispela na pait wantaim em long woa. | Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. |

Ol bai harim tok save long yu na ol bai guria, na pilim nogut, na yu as bilong dispela. | This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee. |
| 26 | Na mi salim ol mausman long lusim ples i no gat man bilong Kedemot na go long Saihon, king bilong Hesbon, na ol i mekim tok bilong bel isi, na ol i tok, | And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying, |
| 27 | Larim mi go hapsait long graun bilong yu. Mi bai go long bikpela rot na bai mi no tanim mi yet i go long han sut o long han kais. | Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left. |
| 28 | Yu ken salim kaikai long mi bilong kisim mani, bai mi ken kaikai, na givim wara long mi bilong kisim mani, bai mi ken dring. Mi laik go hapsait tasol long ol fut bilong mi. | Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet; |
| 29 | (Olsem ol pikinini bilong Iso husat i stap long Sir, na ol Moap husat i stap long Ar i bin mekim long mi.), inap long mi go hapsait long wara riva Jordan na go insait long graun God BIKPELA bilong mipela i givim mipela. | (As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the Lord our God giveth us. |

Long wanem God BIKPELA bilong yu i mekim spirit bilong em i kamap olsem ston na mekim bel bilong em i bikhet, bai God i ken putim em long han bilong yu, olsem em i stap long dispela de. | But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the Lord thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day. |
| 31 | Na BIKPELA i tok long mi, Harim, long pes bilong yu, Mi bin stat long givim Saihon na graun bilong em. Stat long holimpas dispela, bai yu ken kisim graun bilong em olsem samting papa i laik givim yu. | And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land. |
| 32 | Long dispela taim Saihon i kamaut birua long yumi, em wantaim olgeta manmeri bilong em, long pait long Jahas. | Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz. |
| 33 | Na God BIKPELA bilong yumi i givim em long pes bilong yumi, na yumi bin paitim em, na ol pikinini man bilong em, na olgeta manmeri bilong em. | And the Lord our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. |
| 34 | Na long dispela taim yumi kisim olgeta biktaun bilong em, na bagarapim olgeta ol man, na ol meri, na ol liklik lain bilong olgeta wan wan biktaun. Yumi no larim wanpela i stap yet. | And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain: |
| 35 | Yumi kisim ol bulmakau samting tasol bilong i stap ol samting bilong yumi yet, wantaim ol kago samting bilong ol biktaun yumi bin winim. | Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took. |
| 36 | Long lusim Aroa, na dispela i stap long arere bilong wara riva bilong Arnon, na long lusim dispela biktaun i stap klostu long wara riva inap long Gileat, i no gat wanpela biktaun i strongpela inap long winim yumi. God BIKPELA bilong yumi i bin givim olgeta i go long yumi. | From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the Lord our God delivered all unto us: |
| 37 | Tasol yu no bin kam long graun bilong ol pikinini bilong Amon, o long wanpela hap bilong wara riva Jabok, o long ol biktaun i stap long ol maunten, o long wanem hap God BIKPELA bilong yumi i bin tambuim yumi long kisim. | Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the Lord our God forbad us. |
