| 2 | Yu mas makim tripela biktaun bilong yu long namel long graun bilong yu God BIKPELA bilong yu i givim dispela long yu long kisim. | Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it. |
| 3 | Yu mas redim wanpela rot bilong yu na brukim long tripela hap ol arere bilong graun bilong yu God BIKPELA bilong yu i givim yu long kisim, olsem papa i givim ol pikinini, bai olgeta wan wan man o meri i kilim narapela i dai, ol i ken ranawe long em. | Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither. |

Em i mas ranawe i go long wanpela bilong ol dispela biktaun na stap laip. | As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live: |

Na sapos yu bai holimpas olgeta bilong ol dispela strongpela tok long bihainim ol, long laikim tru God BIKPELA bilong yu na long wokabaut olgeta taim long ol pasin bilong Em, long dispela taim bai yu bungim tripela biktaun moa bilong yu wantaim dispela tripela. | If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the Lord thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three: |

| 13 | Ai bilong yu i no ken sori long em, tasol yu mas rausim dispela asua bilong blut i no bin mekim rong long Isrel, bai ol samting i ken go gutpela long yu. | Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee. |

Em dispela yu bai kisim olsem samting papa i givim pikinini long dispela hap graun God BIKPELA bilong yu i givim yu long kisim dispela. | Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it. |

Olgeta toktok bilong dispela samting i mas kamap long maus bilong tupela witnes o long maus bilong tripela witnes. | One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. |

| 18 | Na ol jas bai mekim planti gutpela askim na harim, sapos dispela witnes i stap giaman witnes na em i bin tok giaman long kotim brata bilong em, | And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother; |
| 19 | Long dispela taim yupela i mas mekim long em olsem em i bin tingting long mekim long brata bilong em. Orait bai yu putim dispela pasin nogut i stap longwe long yupela. | Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you. |
| 20 | Na ol husat i stap yet bai harim na pret. Na bihain ol bai i no mekim kain pasin nogut olsem namel long yupela. | And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you. |
| 21 | Na ai bilong yu i no ken sori long em. Tasol laip bai go bilong laip, na ai bilong ai, na tit bilong tit, na han bilong han, na fut bilong fut. | And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. |
