Ol bai kaikai ol ofa ol i kukim long paia na i go long BIKPELA, na em i samting bilong Em. | The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and his inheritance. |
| 2 | Olsem na ol i no ken kisim ol samting bilong papa namel long ol brata bilong ol. BIKPELA em i samting bilong kisim bilong ol olsem Em i bin tokim ol. | Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the Lord is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them. |
| 3 | Na dispela bai stap ol samting pris i ken kisim long ol manmeri. Long ol i mekim ofa bilong kilim animal i dai na em i bulmakau o sipsip ol i mas givim long pris sol na tupela wasket na namba wan bel bilong dispela ofa. | And this shall be the priest’s due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw. |
| 4 | Na tu yu mas givim em ol namba wan kaikai bilong ol kon samting bilong yu na bilong ol wain bilong yu na bilong ol wel bilong yu na namba wan hap bilong ol gras bilong ol sipsip bilong yu. | The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. |

| 6 | Na sapos wanpela bilong lain bilong Livai i go long lusim wanpela bilong ol dua bilong banis bilong yu long olgeta hap bilong Isrel long ples em i bin sindaun long em, na em i kam wantaim olgeta laik bilong tingting bilong em long dispela ples BIKPELA bai makim, | And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the Lord shall choose; |

Em ol husat i sanap long dispela hap long pes bilong BIKPELA. | Then he shall minister in the name of the Lord his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the Lord. |

| 9 | ¶ Taim yu kam long graun God BIKPELA bilong yu i givim yu, yu no ken kisim save long mekim ol sting pasin bilong ol dispela kantri. | When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. |
| 10 | Yupela i no ken lukim namel long yupela wanpela i mekim pikinini man bilong em o pikinini meri bilong em i go insait long paia bilong i dai pinis, o wanpela i yusim spirit nogut long tok long ol samting bai i kamap, o wanpela i trikman, o wanpela i wokim pasin long pasin bilong toktok olsem snek, o wanpela masalai meri, | There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, |
| 11 | O wanpela i wokim poisin bilong mekim narapela i bihainim em, o wanpela glasman, o wanpela i wokim poisin long toktok i no klia, o wanpela i toktok wantaim spirit bilong ol daiman. | Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. |
| 12 | Long wanem olgeta manmeri i mekim ol dispela samting ol i samting i sting pinis long tingting bilong BIKPELA. Na ol dispela samting i sting tru em i as bilong God BIKPELA bilong yu i rausim ol long pes bilong yu. | For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. |
| 13 | Yu mas i stap inap tru long pasin yu mekim wantaim God BIKPELA bilong yu. | Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God. |
| 14 | Long wanem ol dispela kantri, bai yu kisim ol graun bilong ol, ol i bin harim tok bilong ol trikman na long ol i yusim ol spirit nogut long tok long ol samting bai i kamap. Tasol bilong yu, God BIKPELA bilong yu i no larim yu mekim olsem. | For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do. |
| 15 | ¶ God BIKPELA bilong yu bai kirapim i kam long yu wanpela profet i kam long namel long yu, em wanpela bilong ol brata bilong yu wankain olsem mi. Yupela i mas harim gut tok bilong em. | The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; |
| 16 | Em i bilong bihainim olgeta samting yu laikim bilong God BIKPELA bilong yu long Horep long dispela de bilong bung yu bin tok, Larim mi i no ken harim gen nek bilong God BIKPELA bilong mi, na tu no ken larim mi lukim dispela bikpela paia wanpela taim moa, bai mi no ken i dai pinis. | According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. |
| 17 | Na BIKPELA i tokim mi, Ol i bin mekim gutpela toktok long ol tok ol i autim. | And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. |
| 18 | Bai Mi kirapim wanpela profet bilong ol i kam long namel long ol brata bilong ol wankain olsem yu. Na bai Mi putim ol tok bilong Mi long maus bilong em. Na em bai tokim ol long olgeta samting Mi givim em strongpela tok long em. | I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. |
| 19 | Na em bai kamap olsem, wanem man o meri i no laik harim ol tok bilong Mi em bai autim dispela long nem bilong Mi, bai Mi mekim save long em. | And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. |
| 20 | Tasol bai profet i bikhet long mekim tok long nem bilong Mi na Mi no bin givim strongpela tok long em long tok long dispela, o em bai tok long nem bilong ol arapela god, dispela profet i mas i dai pinis. | But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. |
| 21 | Na sapos yu tok long bel bilong yu, Olsem wanem mipela inap save long dispela tok BIKPELA i no bin tok long em? | And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? |
| 22 | Taim wanpela profet i tok long nem bilong BIKPELA, sapos dispela samting i no kamap o em i no stap olsem, dispela em i samting BIKPELA i no bin tok long em. Tasol dispela profet i bin bikhet na tok long dispela. Yu no ken pret long em. | When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. |
