| 2 | Na dispela mak o dispela samting i winim tingting i kamap olsem em i bin toktok long yu, na em i tok, Larim yumi go na bihainim ol arapela god yu no bin save long ol na larim yumi mekim wok long ol. | And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; |
| 3 | Yu no ken harim ol tok bilong dispela profet o dispela wanpela i driman ol driman. Long wanem God BIKPELA bilong yupela i traim yupela long save olsem, yupela i laikim tru God BIKPELA bilong yupela long olgeta hap bilong bel bilong yupela na long olgeta hap bilong tewel bilong yupela. | Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. |

Em i mekim dispela long subim yu long lusim we God BIKPELA bilong yu i givim strongpela tok long yu long wokabaut long em. Olsem yu mas rausim dispela pasin nogut long namel long yu. | And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the Lord thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee. |

| 8 | Yu no ken orait long em o harim em, na tu ai bilong yu i no ken sori long em, na tu yu no ken helpim em long abrusim pe nogut, na tu yu no ken haitim em. | Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: |

Em i bin bringim yu long lusim graun bilong Isip long dispela haus bilong i stap slev. | And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. |
| 11 | Na olgeta Isrel bai harim na pret. Na ol bai i no mekim dispela pasin nogut olsem em i stap namel long yupela. | And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you. |
| 12 | ¶ Sapos yu harim tok long wanpela bilong ol biktaun bilong yu, God BIKPELA bilong yu i bin givim ol long yu long sindaun long ol, na tok i olsem, | If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the Lord thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying, |
| 13 | Sampela man, em ol pikinini bilong Belial, ol i bin go long lusim namel long yupela na ol i pulim i go longwe ol manmeri i stap long biktaun bilong ol, na tok, Larim yumi go na mekim wok long ol arapela god yupela i no bin save long ol. | Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; |
| 14 | Long dispela taim yu mas mekim askim na wok long painimaut na mekim asking bilong kliaim tingting na harim, sapos dispela tok i tru na dispela samting i tru olgeta olsem dispela samting i sting tru ol i wokim namel long yupela, | Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you; |
| 15 | Tru tumas yu mas paitim ol manmeri bilong dispela biktaun long arere bilong bainat na bagarapim dispela olgeta na olgeta samting i stap insait long em na ol bulmakau samting bilong em long arere bilong bainat. | Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword. |

Yu no ken wokim biktaun long em gen. | And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the Lord thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. |

Em long mekim ol samting i stretpela long ol ai bilong God BIKPELA bilong yu. | When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the Lord thy God. |
