| 2 | Long wanem klostu bai God i katim ol olsem gras, na bai ol i drai olsem sayor i grinpela. | For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. |
| 3 | Yu mas putim bilip bilong yu long BIKPELA na mekim gutpela pasin. Olsem na bai yu stap long dispela hap graun, na tru tumas bai yu kisim kaikai. | Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. |
| 4 | Na tu yu yet i mas amamas long BIKPELA. Na bai Em i givim yu ol laik bilong bel bilong yu. | Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. |
| 5 | Yu mas putim pasin bilong yu long han bilong BIKPELA. Yu mas putim bilip bilong yu long Em tu. Na bai Em i mekim dispela samting i kamap. | Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. |
| 6 | Na bai Em i mekim stretpela pasin bilong yu i kamap ples klia olsem lait, na stretpela kot bilong yu i kamap ples klia olsem belo taim. | And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. |
| 7 | ¶ Yu mas malolo long BIKPELA na stap isi na wet bilong lukim Em. Yu no ken larim yu yet i kamap kros, na as bilong dispela em i man i kisim planti samting long pasin bilong em. Na dispela i kamap long wanem dispela man husat i kirapim ol samting i nogut tru em i helpim em. | Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. |

| 10 | Long wanem liklik taim bihain bai ol man i nogut tru i no stap. Yes, bai yu hatwok long tingim na skelim ples bilong em, na bai em i no stap. | For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. |
| 11 | Tasol ol man bilong pasin isi bai kisim dispela graun long Papa. Na bai ol i amamasim ol yet long bel isi i pulap tru. | But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. |
| 12 | Man i nogut tru em i save painim rot bilong nogutim stretpela man, na em i kaikaim em long tit bilong em. | The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. |
| 13 | BIKPELA bai i lap long em. Long wanem Em i lukim, de bilong em i laik i kamap. | The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. |
| 14 | Ol man i nogut tru i bin kisim bainat i kam long han na taitim banara bilong ol bilong daunim ol rabisman na ol man i sot long samting, na bilong kilim i dai ol man i wokabaut stret. | The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. |
| 15 | Bainat bilong ol bai i go insait long bel bilong ol yet, na ol banara bilong ol bai i bruk. | Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. |
| 16 | Liklik samting stretpela man i holim em i winim ol mani samting bilong planti man i nogut tru. | A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. |
| 17 | Long wanem ol han bilong ol man i nogut tru bai i bruk. Tasol BIKPELA i save holim na strongim ol stretpela man. | For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. |
| 18 | BIKPELA i save long ol de bilong ol stretpela man. Na samting ol i kisim long Papa bai stap oltaim oltaim. | The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. |
| 19 | Long taim nogut ol bai i no sem. Na long ol de bilong bikpela hangre ol bai inap. | They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. |
| 20 | Tasol ol man i nogut tru bai i lus olgeta. Na ol birua bilong BIKPELA bai i stap olsem gris bilong ol pikinini sipsip. Bai ol i bagarap olgeta. Bai ol i bagarap olgeta na kamap smok tasol. | But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. |
| 21 | ¶ Ol man i nogut i kisim dinau, na ol i no bekim gen. Tasol ol stretpela man i soim sori, na ol i givim samting. | The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. |
| 22 | Long wanem kain man i kisim blesing long Em bai ol i kisim dispela graun long Papa. Na ol man Em i makim bilong i stap aninit long kot bai bagarap. | For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. |
| 23 | BIKPELA i save stiaim wokabaut bilong gutpela man. Na em i amamas long rot bilong Em. | The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. |
| 24 | Sapos em i pundaun, bai em i no pundaun olgeta. Long wanem BIKPELA i save holim em long han bilong En. | Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. |
| 25 | Bipo mi yangpela man, na nau mi lapun. Tasol mi no bin lukim God i givim baksait long stretpela man. Na mi no bin lukim ol tumbuna pikinini bilong em i mas pulim bret long narapela man. | I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. |
| 26 | Em i pulap long pasin sori oltaim, na givim dinau. Na ol tumbuna pikinini bilong em i kisim blesing. | He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. |
| 27 | Yu mas lusim pasin nogut na mekim gutpela pasin. Na bai yu stap oltaim oltaim. | Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. |
| 28 | Long wanem BIKPELA i laikim tru stretpela kot, na Em i no givim baksait long ol seint bilong En. Em i lukautim ol i stap oltaim oltaim. Tasol ol tumbuna pikinini bilong ol man i nogut tru bai i bagarap. | For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. |

| 30 | Maus bilong stretpela man i autim save tru. Na tang bilong em i toktok long stretpela kot. | The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. |
| 31 | Lo bilong God bilong em i stap long bel bilong em. I no gat wanpela wokabaut bilong em bai i wel. | The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. |
| 32 | Man i nogut tru i save was long stretpela man, na em i painim rot bilong kilim em i dai. | The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. |
| 33 | BIKPELA bai i no larim em i stap long han bilong em. Na bai Em i no sutim tok long em taim ol i kotim em. | The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. |
| 34 | ¶ Yu mas wet long BIKPELA na holimpas long pasin bilong Em. Na bai Em i litimapim yu bilong kisim dispela hap graun long Papa. Taim Em i bagarapim ol man i nogut tru bai yu lukim dispela. | Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. |
| 35 | Mi bin lukim man i nogut tru i gat bikpela namba, na em i mekim em yet i kamap bikpela moa olsem grinpela diwai be. | I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. |
| 36 | Tasol em i go pinis; na harim, em i no stap. Yes, mi bin painim em, tasol mi no inap lukim em. | Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. |
| 37 | Yu mas makim gut man i inap tru, na yu mas lukim stretpela man. Long wanem, pinis bilong dispela man em i bel isi. | Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. |
| 38 | Tasol bai ol man bilong kalapim lo i bagarap wantaim. Pinis bilong ol man i nogut tru bai bagarap. | But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. |
| 39 | Tasol kisim bek bilong ol stretpela man em i kam long BIKPELA. Em i strong bilong ol long taim bilong hevi. | But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. |
| 40 | Na BIKPELA bai helpim ol na kisim bek ol. Bai Em i tekewe ol long han bilong man i nogut tru na kisim bek ol. Long wanem ol i putim bilip bilong ol long Em. | And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. |
