| 2 | Larim pe bilong kot bilong mi i ken lusim pes bilong Yu na kam. Larim ai bilong Yu i ken lukim ol samting i wankain. | Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal. |

Mi bin pasim tingting olsem, bai maus bilong mi i no kalapim lo. | Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. |

Yu kisim bek ol long ol man i kirap na birua long ol. | Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them. |

| 10 | Ol i pas long gris bilong ol yet. Long maus bilong ol, ol i mekim hambak tok. | They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly. |
| 11 | Nau ol i raunim mipela long rot bilong mipela. Ol i putim ai bilong ol, na ol i lindaun i go long graun, | They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth; |
| 12 | Olsem laion i hangre tru long abus em i ranim, na olsem yangpela laion i wet i stap long ol ples hait. | Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places. |
| 13 | O BIKPELA, kirap na mekim bel bilong em I pilim nogut na daunim em. Yu mas tekewe tewel bilong mi long han bilong man i nogut tru, em i bainat bilong Yu. | Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword: |

Ol i pulap long ol pikinini, na ol i larim hap bilong ol samting bilong ol i stap long han bilong ol liklik pikinini bilong ol. | From men which are thy hand, O Lord, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes. |
