| 2 | Planti taim ol i bin givim pen long mi i stat long taim mi yangpela. Tasol ol i no bin winim mi. | Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me. |
| 3 | Ol man i save brukim graun ol i bin brukim graun antap long baksait bilong mi. Ol i bin mekim ol baret i kamap longpela. | The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows. |
| 4 | BIKPELA em i stretpela. Em i bin katim na brukim ol baklain bilong ol man i nogut tru. | The Lord is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. |
