| 2 | Taim mi stap long hevi Yu no ken haitim pes bilong Yu long mi. Yu mas putim ia bilong Yu i kam long mi. Long de mi singaut Yu mas bekim tok long mi kwiktaim. | Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily. |

| 13 | Yu bai kirap, na sori long Saion. Long wanem, taim bilong mekim gutpela pasin long en, yes, taim Yu bin makim, em i kam pinis. | Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. |
| 14 | Long wanem ol wokboi bilong Yu i amamas long ol ston bilong en, na ol i laikim das bilong en. | For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. |
| 15 | Olsem na ol haiden bai i pret long nem bilong BIKPELA, na olgeta king bilong dispela graun bai i pret long glori bilong Yu. | So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. |
| 16 | Taim BIKPELA i sanapim Saion, bai Em i kamap ples klia long glori bilong En. | When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. |
| 17 | Bai Em i harim prea bilong ol rabisman, na bai Em i no tingim prea bilong ol i samting nating. | He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. |
| 18 | Bai ol i raitim dispela bilong skulim lain manmeri i kamap bihain. Na ol manmeri God bai kamapim, bai ol i litimapim nem bilong BIKPELA. | This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord. |
| 19 | Long wanem Em i stap long ples antap tru bilong ples holi bilong En, na Em i bin lukluk i go daun. Long heven BIKPELA i bin lukim dispela graun, | For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; |
| 20 | Bilong harim krai bilong kalabusman olsem krai bilong man i karim pen, na bilong lusim long kalabus ol man ol i bin makim bilong i dai pinis, | To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; |
| 21 | Na bilong tokaut long nem bilong BIKPELA long Saion na biknem bilong En long Jerusalem, | To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; |
| 22 | Taim ol manmeri na ol kingdom i bung wantaim bilong mekim wok bilong BIKPELA. | When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the Lord. |
| 23 | ¶ Em i mekim strong bilong mi i lusim strong long rot. Em i mekim ol de bilong mi i no planti. | He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days. |
| 24 | Mi bin tok, O God bilong mi, Yu no ken kisim mi i go, taim mi stap namel long ol de bilong mi. Ol yia bilong Yu i go i go inap long taim bilong olgeta lain manmeri. | I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations. |

Na bai Yu senisim ol olsem klos, na bai ol i stap narakain. | They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: |

| 28 | Ol pikinini bilong ol wokboi bilong Yu bai i stap olsem. Na ol tumbuna pikinini bilong ol bai i stap strong long pes bilong Yu. | The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee. |
