Yu save kisim bek mi long pasin pait. | The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. |

Na Em i bin harim nek bilong mi ausait long tempel bilong Em, na krai bilong mi i bin go insait long tupela ia bilong Em. | In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. |

| 14 | BIKPELA i pairap olsem klaut i kam long heven, na Man i Antap Olgeta i toktok wantaim nek bilong Em. | The Lord thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice. |
| 15 | Na Em i salim ol spia ausait, na brukim ol nabaut, lait bilong klaut, na bagarapim ol olgeta. | And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them. |
| 16 | Ol pasis bilong biksi i kamap ples klia, ol as ston bilong dispela graun i kamap ples klia, taim BIKPELA i hatim ol, long pairap bilong win bilong tupela hul bilong nus bilong Em. | And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils. |

| 18 | Em i kisim bek mi long strongpela birua bilong mi, na long ol husat i hetim mi. Long wanem, ol i strong tumas long mi. | He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me. |
| 19 | Ol i pasim mi long de bilong bikpela bagarap bilong mi. Tasol BIKPELA i bin stap strong bilong mi. | They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay. |
| 20 | Em i bringim mi ausait tu i kam long wanpela traipela ples. Em i kisim bek mi, bilong wanem, Em i gat gutpela amamas long mi. | He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me. |
| 21 | BIKPELA i givim pe long mi bilong bihainim stretpela pasin bilong mi. Bilong bihainim klinpela pasin bilong tupela han bilong mi Em i bin bekim pe long mi. | The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. |
| 22 | Long wanem, mi bin holimpas ol rot bilong BIKPELA, na mi no bin mekim pasin nogut na lusim God bilong mi. | For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God. |
| 23 | Long wanem, olgeta kot bilong Em i stap long ai bilong mi. Na long sait bilong ol lo bilong Em Em i raitim, mi no bin lusim ol. | For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. |
| 24 | Na tu mi stap stretpela long ai bilong Em, na mi bin pasim mi yet long pasin nogut bilong mi. | I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity. |
| 25 | Olsem na BIKPELA i bin bekim pe long mi bilong bihainim stretpela pasin bilong mi, bilong bihainim klinpela pasin bilong mi long ai bilong Em. | Therefore the Lord hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight. |
| 26 | Long ol lain i soim sori, Yu bai soim Yu Yet Man i pulap long pasin sori, na long man i stretpela, Yu bai soim Yu Yet stretpela. | With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright. |
| 27 | Long ol lain i klin, Yu bai soim Yu Yet klin. Na long ol lain i bikhet Yu bai soim Yu Yet olsem samting i no swit. | With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury. |

| 31 | Na long sait bilong God, pasin bilong Em em i inap tru. Ol i traim pinis tok bilong BIKPELA. Em i wanpela plang bilong han long olgeta husat i putim bilip long Em. | As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. |
| 32 | Long wanem, husat Em i God, na Em i no BIKPELA? Na husat i wanpela ston, na Em i no God bilong mipela? | For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God? |
| 33 | God Em i strong na pawa bilong mi. Na Em i mekim rot bilong mi i inap tru. | God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. |
| 34 | Em i mekim tupela fut bilong mi olsem ol fut bilong ol hain. Na Em i putim mi antap long ol ples antap bilong mi. | He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places. |
| 35 | Em i skulim tupela han bilong mi long wokim bikpela pait, inap long wanpela banara stil i bruk long tupela han bilong mi. | He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. |
| 36 | Yu bin givim mi tu plang bilong kisim bek bilong Yu. Na pasin isi bilong Yu i bin mekim mi kamap bikpela. | Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great. |
| 37 | Yu bin mekim ol step i stap aninit long mi long go traipela, inap long tupela fut bilong mi i no bin wel. | Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip. |
| 38 | Mi bin ran bihainim ol birua bilong mi na bagarapim ol olgeta. Na mi no tanim gen inap long mi bin kaikai ol olgeta. | I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them. |
| 39 | Na mi bin kaikai ol olgeta, na bagarapim ol, inap long ol i no inap kirap. Yes, ol i pundaun aninit long tupela fut bilong mi. | And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet. |
| 40 | Long wanem, Yu bin pasim mi nabaut wantaim strong bilong pait. Ol husat i kirap na birua long mi Yu bin daunim aninit long mi. | For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me. |
| 41 | Yu bin givim mi tu ol nek bilong ol birua bilong mi, inap long mi ken bagarapim olgeta ol husat i hetim mi. | Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me. |
| 42 | Ol i lukluk, tasol i no gat wanpela man bilong kisim bek ol, yes, long BIKPELA, tasol Em i no bekim tok long ol. | They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the Lord, but he answered them not. |

Wanpela lain husat mi no save long ol bai bihainim mi. | Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me. |

| 47 | BIKPELA i stap laip, na blesing i stap long ston bilong mi. Na ol man i ken litimapim God bilong ston bilong kisim bek bilong mi. | The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation. |
| 48 | Em God husat i bekim pe nogut bilong helpim mi, na husat i bringim daun ol manmeri aninit long mi, | It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me, |
| 49 | Na husat i bringim mi ausait i lusim ol birua bilong mi. Yu tu bin litimapim mi antap antap long ol husat i kirap na birua long mi. Yu bin kisim bek mi long man bilong pasin pait. | And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. |
