절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Na BIKPELA i salim Netan long Devit. Na em i kam long em, na tokim em, I gat tupela man long wanpela biktaun. Wanpela em i maniman, na arapela em i rabisman. And the Lord sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
Dispela maniman i gat planti moa yet ol lain sipsip na ol lain bulmakau. The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:
Tasol dispela rabisman i no gat wanpela samting, wanpela liklik pikinini sipsip meri tasol, dispela em i bin lukautim na givim kaikai long em. Na em i kamap bikpela wantaim em, na wantaim ol pikinini bilong em. Em i bin kaikai long kaikai bilong man yet, na dring long kap bilong man yet, na slip long bros bilong em, na stap long em olsem wanpela pikinini meri. But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
Na i gat wanpela man pasindia i kam long dispela maniman, na em i soim sori long lain sipsip bilong em yet na long lain bulmakau bilong em yet, long kisim wanpela long redim long man bilong raun husat i kam long em. Tasol em i kisim pikinini sipsip bilong dispela rabisman, na redim dispela long dispela man husat i kam long em. And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man’s lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
Na belhat bilong Devit i kirap bikpela i birua long dispela man. Na em i tokim Netan, Tru tumas, olsem BIKPELA i stap laip, dispela man husat i bin wokim dispela samting bai dai. And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the Lord liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
Na em bai stretim bek dispela pikinini sipsip fopela taim, bilong wanem, em i mekim dispela samting, na bilong wanem, em i no gat pasin sori. And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
Na Netan i tokim Devit, Yu dispela man. God BIKPELA bilong Isrel i tok olsem, Mi makim yu king long bosim Isrel, na Mi kisim bek yu ausait long han bilong Sol. And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
Na Mi givim yu hauslain bilong bikman bilong yu, na ol meri bilong bikman bilong yu i go long bros bilong yu, na givim yu hauslain bilong Isrel na bilong Juda. Na sapos dispela i bin liklik tumas, Mi bin gat laik long givim i go long yu ol kain kain samting moa tu. And I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.
Olsem wanem na yu bin tingim tok strong bilong BIKPELA olsem em i samting nating, long mekim pasin nogut long ai bilong Em? Yu bin kilim man Hit Yuraia wantaim bainat, na yu bin kisim meri bilong em long stap meri bilong yu, na yu bin kilim em i dai wantaim bainat bilong ol pikinini bilong Amon. Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.
Olsem na nau bainat bai i no inap lusim hauslain bilong yu. Bilong wanem, yu bin tingim Mi olsem Mi samting nating, na yu bin kisim meri bilong man Hit Yuraia long stap meri bilong yu. Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
BIKPELA i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi bai kirapim samting nogut long birua long yu i kam ausait long hauslain bilong yu yet, na Mi bai kisim ol meri bilong yu long ai bilong yu, na givim ol long han bilong man i stap klostu long yu, na em bai slip wantaim ol meri bilong yu long ai bilong san. Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
Long wanem, yu mekim dispela hait. Tasol Mi bai wokim dispela samting long ai bilong olgeta Isrel, na long ai bilong san. For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
Na Devit i tokim Netan, Mi bin mekim sin i birua long BIKPELA. Na Netan i tokim Devit, BIKPELA tu i bin rausim i go sin bilong yu. Bai yu no inap dai. And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
Tasol, bikos long dispela wok yu bin givim bikpela sans long ol birua bilong BIKPELA long tok bilas, tru tumas, dispela pikinini tu husat Bat-siba i karim long yu bai dai. Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.
¶ Na Netan i lusim dispela hap i go long haus bilong em. Na BIKPELA i paitim dispela pikinini husat meri bilong Yuraia i karim long Devit, na em i sik tru. And Nathan departed unto his house. And the Lord struck the child that Uriah’s wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.
Olsem na Devit i askim God long daun pasin long helpim dispela pikinini. Na Devit i tambuim kaikai, na go insait, na slip long graun olgeta hap bilong nait. David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.
Na ol lapun hetman bilong hauslain bilong em i kirap, na go long em, long kirapim em long graun. Tasol em i no laik, na tu em i no bin kaikai bret wantaim ol. And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.
Na em i kamap olsem long namba seven de, long dispela pikinini i dai. Na ol wokboi bilong Devit i pret long tokim em long pikinini i dai pinis. Long wanem, ol i tok, Lukim, taim pikinini i stap laip yet, yumi toktok long em, na em i no laik harim nek bilong yumi. Em bai givim hevi long em yet nau olsem wanem, sapos yumi tokim em long dispela pikinini i dai pinis? And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?
Tasol taim Devit i luksave long ol wokboi bilong em i wok long tok isi isi, Devit i kisim save long pikinini i dai pinis. Olsem na Devit i tokim ol wokboi bilong em, Ating pikinini i dai pinis, a? Na ol i tokim em, Em i dai pinis. But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.
Nau Devit i kirap long graun, na waswas, na putim wel long em yet, na senisim naispela klos bilong em, na kam insait long haus bilong BIKPELA, na lotu. Nau em i kam insait long haus bilong em yet. Na taim em i strong long en, ol i putim bret long ai bilong em, na em i bin kaikai. Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the Lord, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat.
Nau ol wokboi bilong em i tokim em, Dispela samting yu bin mekim em i wanem samting? Yu bin tambuim kaikai na krai tru long dispela pikinini, taim em i stap laip. Tasol taim pikinini i dai pinis, yu bin kirap na kaikai bret. Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
Na em i tokim ol, Taim dispela pikinini i stap laip yet, mi tambuim kaikai na krai tru. Long wanem, mi tok, Husat i ken save long GOD bai soim marimari long mi o nogat, inap long dispela pikinini i ken stap laip? And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
Tasol nau em i dai pinis, olsem wanem na bai mi ken tambuim kaikai? Ating mi inap long bringim em i kam bek gen? Mi bai go long em, tasol em bai i no inap kam bek long mi. But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.
Na Devit i givim bel isi long meri bilong em Bat-siba, na go long em, na slip wantaim em. Na em i karim wanpela pikinini man, na Devit i kolim nem bilong em Solomon. Na BIKPELA i laikim em tru. And David comforted Bath–sheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the Lord loved him.
Na Em i salim tok long han bilong profet Netan. Na Em i kolim nem bilong em Jedidaia, bikos BIKPELA i laik. And he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and he called his name Jedidiah, because of the Lord.
¶ Na Joap i pait birua long Raba bilong ol pikinini bilong Amon, na kisim dispela biktaun bilong king. And Joab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and took the royal city.
Na Joap i salim ol mausman long Devit, na tok, Mi bin pait birua long Raba, na mi bin kisim dispela biktaun bilong ol wara. And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters.
Olsem na nau bungim olgeta arapela bilong ol manmeri wantaim, na wokim kem pas klostu long dispela biktaun, na kisim dispela. Nogut mi kisim dispela biktaun, na ol i kolim dispela i bihainim nem bilong mi. Now therefore gather the rest of the people together, and encamp against the city, and take it: lest I take the city, and it be called after my name.
Na Devit i bungim olgeta lain wantaim, na go long Raba, na pait birua long en, na kisim dispela. And David gathered all the people together, and went to Rabbah, and fought against it, and took it.
Na em i kisim hat king bilong king bilong ol long het bilong em, we hevi bilong en em i wanpela talen gol wantaim ol ston i dia tumas. Na ol i putim dispela antap long het bilong Devit. Na em i bringim kago bilong pait ausait long dispela biktaun i planti moa yet. And he took their king’s crown from off his head, the weight whereof was a talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David’s head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.
Na em i bringim ol manmeri ausait husat i stap insait long en, na putim ol aninit long ol so, na aninit long ol bikpela baira ain, na aninit long ol akis ain, na mekim ol i wokabaut namel long hap bilong kukim brik. Na olsem tasol em i mekim long olgeta biktaun bilong ol pikinini bilong ol lain Amon. Olsem tasol Devit na olgeta lain i kam bek long Jerusalem. And he brought forth the people that were therein, and put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brickkiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem.
