Long dispela tupela wantaim mi kirapim ol klinpela tingting bilong yupela long rot bilong holim tingting. | This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: |
| 2 | Inap long yupela i ken tingim gen ol dispela toktok ol profet holi i bin toktok long en bipo, na long tok strong bilong mipela, ol aposel bilong Bikpela na Man Bilong Kisim Bek. | That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: |
| 3 | ¶ Taim yupela i save long dispela pastaim, long bai i gat i kam long ol las de ol man bilong tok bilas, taim ol i wokabaut i bihainim ol aigris bilong ol, | Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, |

Long wanem, inap long taim ol tumbuna papa i pundaun long slip, olgeta samting i stap yet olsem ol i bin stap long stat bilong olgeta samting God i kamapim long nating. | And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. |

| 8 | ¶ Tasol, ol man i stap klostu tru long bel bilong mi, yupela i mas stap klia long dispela wanpela samting, long wanpela de long Bikpela em i olsem 1,000 yia, na 1,000 yia i olsem wanpela de. | But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. |

Tasol em i karim pen longpela taim i kam long yumi, taim em i no gat laik long wanpela i ken dai olgeta, tasol long olgeta i ken kam long tanim bel. | The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. |

| 12 | Taim yupela i lukluk long na wok hariap inap long kam bilong de bilong God, we insait long en ol heven, taim ol i paia, bai pinis olgeta, na ol samting bai kuk i kamap olsem wara wantaim hat i hatpela tru? | Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? |
| 13 | Tasol yumi, bilong bihainim promis bilong em, i painim ol nupela heven na wanpela nupela graun, we stretpela pasin i stap insait long en. | Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. |
| 14 | Olsem na, ol man i stap klostu tru long bel bilong mi, taim yumi luksave long yupela i painim ol kain samting, wok strong long em i ken painim yupela pinis insait long bel isi, i no gat mak, na i no gat asua. | Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. |

Yes, olsem brata i stap klostu tru long bel bilong yumi Pol tu, bilong bihainim save tru God i givim em, i bin raitim long yupela. | And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; |

Insait long dispela i gat sampela samting i hatpela long save long en, dispela ol husat i no kisim lainim na i no strong i tantanim paul, olsem ol i mekim tu long ol arapela rait bilong God, i go inap long bagarap olgeta bilong ol yet. | As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. |

Glori i mas stap long em nau na oltaim oltaim wantaim. Amen. | But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. |
