| 1 | ¶ Tasol i bin gat ol giaman profet namel long ol manmeri tu, yes, olsem bai i gat ol giaman tisa namel long yupela, husat bai bringim hait ol giaman bilip i laik bagarapim man i kam insait, yes, ol bai tok nogat long Bikpela husat i baim ol, na bringim bagarap olgeta antap long ol yet hariap. | But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. |
| 2 | Na planti bai bihainim ol pasin bilong ol bilong bagarapim man, em ol husat i as bilong ol man bai toktok nogut long sait bilong rot bilong tok tru. | And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. |
| 3 | ¶ Na long wok bilong pasin mangal, wantaim ol giaman toktok ol bai mekim yupela long kamap kago. Kot bilong husat, bilong longpela taim nau, i no wet yet, na pasin bilong ol long lus long kot i no hap slip. | And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. |

Ol i gat bikhet tingting, ol i strong long laik bilong ol yet, ol i no pret long toktok nogut long sait bilong samting i gat bikpela namba. | But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. |
| 11 | We olsem ol ensel, husat i bikpela moa long pawa na strong, i no bringim wanpela toktok bilong daunim tru i sutim tok i birua long ol long ai bilong Bikpela. | Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. |

Na ol bai dai olgeta long ol pasin bilong bagarap bilong ol yet. | But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; |

Ol i ol mak na ol mak nogut, ol yet i pilai wantaim ol giaman bilong ol yet taim ol i kaikai bikpela wantaim yupela, | And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; |

Ol i ol pikinini i stap aninit long kot, | Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: |

| 16 | Tasol God i hatim em long sin nogut bilong em. Donki i mauspas i toktok wantaim nek bilong man na tambuim longlong tingting bilong dispela profet. | But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. |
| 17 | Ol dispela em ol hul wara i no gat wara, ol dispela klaut wanpela bikwin nogut i karim, long husat sno wara bilong tudak God i bin holim bek bilong ol oltaim oltaim. | These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. |
| 18 | Long wanem, taim ol i toktok long ol bikpela toktok nating i solap, ol i pulim long wok bilong ol aigris bilong bodi, long wok bilong planti raun nating nogut, ol dispela husat i ranawe olgeta long ol husat i stap laip insait long paul pasin. | For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. |

Long wanem, husat man i winim wanpela man, dispela man stret i bringim em i kam insait long kalabus. | While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. |
