절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Olsem na rausim i go long sait olgeta bel nogut long narapela, na olgeta gris tingting, na ol pasin bilong tupela maus, na ol mangal tingting, na olgeta toktok nogut, Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
Olsem ol nupela bebi stret, yupela i mas gat laik long trupela susu bilong tok bilong God, inap long yupela i ken kamap bikpela long en, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
Sapos em i olsem long yupela i bin testim long Bikpela i soim pasin bilong marimari. If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
¶ Long husat yumi kam, olsem long wanpela ston i stap laip, em i tru ol man i tok nogat long em, tasol God i makim, na em i dia tumas, To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
Yupela tu, olsem ol ston i stap laip, em i wokim i kamap wanpela haus long sait bilong spirit, wanpela lain pris i holi, long ofaim i go antap ol sakrifais long sait long spirit, dispela God i orait long en long Jisas Kraist. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Olsem na tu dispela i stap pinis insait long rait bilong God, Lukim, mi slipim long Saion wanpela nambawan ston bilong kona, samting God i bin makim, dia tumas. Na em husat i putim bilip long em bai i no inap paul. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
Olsem na long yupela husat i bilip em i dia tumas. Tasol long ol husat i sakim tok, dispela ston ol wokman i bin tok nogat long en, dispela ston stret God i mekim het bilong kona, Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
Na wanpela ston bilong sutim lek, na wanpela ston bilong bagarapim bel, yes, long ol husat i sutim lek long tok bilong God, taim ol i sakim tok, we tu God i makim ol long stap long en. And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
Tasol yupela i stap wanpela lain tumbuna God i makim, wanpela lain pris i king, wanpela kantri holi, wanpela lain manmeri i narakain, inap long yupela i ken soim klia ol biknem bilong em husat i bin singautim yupela i kam ausait long tudak long go insait long lait bilong em i mekim ol man tingting planti. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Husat long taim bipo i no stap wanpela lain manmeri, tasol nau yupela istap lain manmeri bilong God. Husat i no bin kisim sori pinis bipo, tasol yupela nau i bin kisim sori pinis. Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Ol man i stap klostu tru long bel bilong mi, mi askim yupela plis strong olsem ol ausait man na ol waira, stap longwe long ol aigris bilong bodi, dispela i wokim bikpela pait i birua long tewel, Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
Taim pasin bilong yupela i pasin i no gat giaman namel long ol man i no Ju. Inap long, we ol i toktok nogut i birua long yupela olsem yupela i stap ol man i mekim nogut, ol i ken long ol gutpela wok bilong yupela, dispela ol bai lukim, givim glori long God long de bilong em i kam lukim ol. Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
¶ Bilong tingim Bikpela, putim yupela yet aninit long olgeta wan wan lo man i makim. Sapos em i long king, olsem man i gat nambawan namba, Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
O long ol nambawan gavman, olsem long ol husat em i salim bilong wokim mekim save long ol man i mekim nogut, na bilong givim biknem long ol husat i mekim gutpela. Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
Long wanem, laik bilong God em i olsem, long, wantaim gutpela pasin, yupela i ken pasim maus bilong ol krankiman i no klia, For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
Olsem ol man i fri, na yupela i no yusim pasin bilong stap fri bilong yupela olsem wanpela ausait saket bilong bel nogut long arapela, tasol olsem ol wokboi bilong God. As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
Givim ona long olgeta man. Laikim tru dispela ol brata. Pret long God. Givim ona long king. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
Ol wokboi, stap aninit long ol bosman bilong yupela wantaim olgeta pret. I no long bosman i gutpela na i gat pasin isi tasol, tasol tu ol husat i bikhet. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
Long wanem, dispela em i samting inap long ol man i ken tok tenkyu long en, sapos wanpela man, bilong bihainim mausbel i go long God, i stap strong yet long bel sori, taim em i karim hevi taim em i no mekim rong. For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
Long wanem, em i wanem glori, sapos, taim ol i paitim yupela long ol asua bilong yupela, yupela bai kisim dispela wantaim pasin bilong sanap strong long traim? Tasol sapos, taim yupela i mekim gutpela pasin, na karim hevi long en, yupela i kisim dispela wantaim pasin bilong sanap strong long traim, dispela em i orait long ai bilong God. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
Long wanem, yes, inap long dispela God i singautim yupela. Bilong wanem, Kraist tu i karim pen long helpim yumi, na givim yumi wanpela piksa, inap long yupela i ken bihainim ol step bilong em. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
Husat i no bin mekim sin, na tu ol i no lukim gris tingting insait long maus bilong em. Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Husat, taim ol i sutim tok nogut long em, em i no sutim tok nogut gen. Taim em i karim pen, em i no toktok long bagarapim ol. Tasol em i putim em yet long em husat i jasim stretpela. Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
Husat em yet i karim ol sin bilong yumi insait long bodi bilong em yet antap long dispela diwai, inap long yumi, taim yumi stap daiman long ol sin, i ken stap laip i go inap long stretpela pasin. Long ol mak bilong wip bilong husat yupela i kamap orait gen. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Long wanem, yupela i bin stap olsem ol sipsip i wok long go lus. Tasol nau yupela i kam bek pinis long Wasman Bilong Sipsip na Bisop bilong ol tewel bilong yupela. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
