| 2 | Tok strong long ol pikinini bilong Isrel, inap long ol i ken givim i go long ol lain Livai bilong samting papa i givim pikinini bilong holimpas bilong ol, ol biktaun long stap long en. Na yupela bai givim tu i go long ol lain Livai ol ples arere bilong biktaun raun nabaut long ol. | Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them. |
| 3 | Na ol biktaun bai ol i gat long stap long ol. Na ol ples arere bilong biktaun bilong ol bai stap bilong ol bulmakau samting bilong ol, na bilong ol kago bilong ol, na bilong olgeta animal bilong ol. | And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts. |

Na biktaun bai stap long namel. Dispela bai stap long ol olsem ol ples arere bilong biktaun. | And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities. |

Na long ol yupela bai skruim 42 biktaun. | And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. |
| 7 | Olsem tasol olgeta dispela biktaun yupela bai givim long ol lain Livai, bai stap 48 biktaun. Ol bai yupela i givim wantaim ol ples arere bilong biktaun bilong ol. | So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs. |

Tasol long ol husat i no gat planti, yupela bai givim liklik. Olgeta wan wan bai givim bilong ol biktaun bilong em i go long ol lain Livai bilong bihainim samting papa i givim pikinini bilong em, dispela em i kisim long papa. | And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many ye shall give many; but from them that have few ye shall give few: every one shall give of his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth. |

| 10 | Toktok long ol pikinini bilong Isrel, na tokim ol, Taim yupela i kam pinis hapsait long Jordan i go long hap bilong Kenan, | Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan; |
| 11 | Orait yupela bai makim bilong yupela ol biktaun bilong i stap ol biktaun bilong hait bilong yupela, inap long man i kilim man i ken ranawe long dispela hap, husat i kilim i dai man taim man i no save. | Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares. |
| 12 | Na ol bai stap long yupela ol biktaun bilong hait long man bilong bekim pe nogut, inap long man i kilim man i no inap i dai, inap long em i sanap long ai bilong bung bilong ol manmeri long kot. | And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment. |
| 13 | Na bilong ol dispela biktaun yupela bai givim, sikispela biktaun bai yupela i gat bilong ples hait. | And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge. |
| 14 | Yupela bai givim tripela biktaun long dispela sait Jordan, na tripela biktaun bai yupela i givim long hap bilong Kenan, dispela bai stap ol biktaun bilong hait. | Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge. |
| 15 | Dispela sikispela biktaun bai stap wanpela ples hait, bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel, na bilong ausait man, na bilong waira namel long ol wantaim, inap long olgeta wan wan husat i kilim man taim man i no save i ken ranawe i go long dispela hap. | These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither. |

Tru tumas, man bilong kilim man i dai bai ol i mekim i dai. | And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. |
| 17 | Na sapos em i paitim em wantaim wanpela ston bilong tromoi, we em i ken dai long en, na em i dai, em i stap wanpela man bilong kilim man i dai. Tru tumas, man bilong kilim man i dai bai ol i mekim i dai. | And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. |
| 18 | O sapos em i paitim em wantaim wanpela samting bilong pait bilong han bilong diwai, we em i ken dai long en, na em i dai, em i stap wanpela man bilong kilim man i dai. Tru tumas, man bilong kilim man i dai bai ol i mekim i dai. | Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. |
| 19 | Man bilong bekim pe nogut bilong blut em yet bai kilim i dai dispela man bilong kilim man i dai. Taim em i bungim em, em bai kilim em i dai. | The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him. |
| 20 | Tasol sapos em i sutim em wantaim pasin bilong hetim, o tromoi long em taim em i wet hait, inap long em i ken dai, | But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die; |
| 21 | O long pasin birua paitim em wantaim han bilong em, inap long em i dai, tru tumas, em husat i paitim em bai ol i mekim i dai. Long wanem, em i wanpela man bilong kilim man i dai. Man bilong bekim pe nogut bilong blut bai kilim i dai dispela man bilong kilim man i dai, taim em i bungim em. | Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him. |
| 22 | Tasol sapos em i sutim em wantu, na i no gat pasin birua, o i bin tromoi antap long em wanpela samting taim em i no wet hait, | But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait, |
| 23 | O wantaim wanpela ston, we wanpela man i ken dai long en, taim em i no lukim em, na tromoi dispela antap long em, inap long em i dai, na em i no birua bilong em, o painim rot long bagarapim em, | Or with any stone, wherewith a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm: |
| 24 | Orait bung bilong ol manmeri bai jasim namel long man i kilim man i dai na man bilong bekim pe nogut bilong blut bilong bihainim ol dispela kot. | Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood according to these judgments: |
| 25 | Na bung bilong ol manmeri bai kisim bek man i kilim man i dai ausait long han bilong man bilong bekim pe nogut bilong blut. Na bung bilong ol manmeri bai givim em i go bek long biktaun bilong hait bilong em, we em i ranawe pinis. Na em bai stap long en inap long dai bilong hetpris, husat ol i makim wantaim wel holi. | And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil. |
| 26 | Tasol sapos man i kilim man i dai bai kam ausait wanpela taim long arere bilong dispela biktaun bilong hait bilong em, we em i ranawe pinis, | But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled; |
| 27 | Na man bilong bekim pe nogut bilong blut i lukim em ausait long ol arere bilong biktaun bilong hait bilong em, na man bilong bekim pe nogut bilong blut i kilim dispela man i kilim man i dai, em bai i no gat asua bilong blut. | And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood: |
| 28 | Bilong wanem, em i sapos long i stap yet insait long biktaun bilong hait bilong em inap long dai bilong hetpris. Tasol bihain long dai bilong hetpris, man i kilim man bai go bek long hap bilong holimpas bilong em. | Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession. |
| 29 | Olsem na ol dispela samting bai stap wanpela lo ol i raitim bilong kot i go long yupela namel long olgeta lain tumbuna bilong yupela long olgeta hap yupela i stap. | So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings. |
| 30 | Husat man i kilim wanpela man, dispela man bilong kilim man i dai bai ol i mekim i dai long maus bilong ol witnes. Tasol wanpela witnes i no ken tokaut klia i birua long wanpela man bilong mekim em i dai. | Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. |
| 31 | Na moa tu yupela bai i no inap kisim amamas long bagarapim laip bilong man bilong kilim man i dai, husat i gat asua bilong i dai. Tasol tru tumas, ol bai mekim em i dai. | Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death. |
| 32 | Na yupela bai i no inap kisim amamas long bagarapim em husat i ranawe pinis long biktaun bilong hait bilong em, inap long em i ken i kam i stap gen long hap bilong em, inap long dai bilong pris. | And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest. |
| 33 | Olsem tasol yupela i no ken mekim doti dispela hap we yupela i stap long en. Long wanem, blut i save mekim dispela hap doti. Na graun i no inap kamap klin long dispela blut i kapsait long en, nogat, long blut bilong em husat i kapsaitim dispela tasol em i ken kamap klin. | So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. |
| 34 | Olsem na yupela i no ken mekim dispela hap doti, dispela yupela bai stap long en, we Mi stap long en. Long wanem, Mi BIKPELA i stap namel long ol pikinini bilong Isrel. | Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the Lord dwell among the children of Israel. |
