¶ Long dispela taim stret ol disaipel i kam long Jisas, i spik, Husat em i nambawan insait long kingdom bilong heven? | At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
Na Jisas i singautim wanpela liklik pikinini i kam long em, na putim em namel long ol, | And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Na tok, Tru tumas, mi tokim yupela, Sapos yupela i no senisim bilip, na kamap olsem ol liklik pikinini, yupela bai i no inap go insait long kingdom bilong heven. | And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Olsem na husat man bai daunim em yet olsem dispela liklik pikinini, em yet em i nambawan insait long kingdom bilong heven. | Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Na husat man bai kisim wanpela kain liklik pikinini long nem bilong mi bai kisim mi. | And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Tasol husat man bai bagarapim bel bilong wanpela bilong ol dispela liklik pikinini husat i bilip long mi, em i mobeta long em long ol i hangamapim wanpela ston bilong krungutim wit nabaut long nek bilong em, na long em i dring wara pinis insait long dip bilong biksi. | But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
¶ Tok lukaut i go long dispela graun, bilong wanem, ol pasin bilong bagarapim bel i stap! Long wanem, em i mas i gat nid long kamap long ol pasin bilong bagarapim bel bai kamap, tasol tok lukaut i go long dispela man husat i mekim pasin bilong bagarapim bel i kamap! | Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Olsem na sapos han bilong yu o fut bilong yu i bagarapim bel bilong yu, katim ol i go, na tromoi ol i lusim yu. Em i mobeta long yu long yu go insait long laip lek nogut o hap bodi i bagarap, long taim yu gat tupela han o tupela fut ol i tromoi yu insait long paia bilong oltaim oltaim. | Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
Na sapos ai bilong yu i bagarapim bel bilong yu, pulim dispela i kam ausait, na tromoi dispela i lusim yu. Em i mobeta long yu long go insait long laip wantaim wanpela ai, long taim yu gat tupela ai ol tromoi yu i go long hel paia. | And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
Was gut long yupela i no ting olsem wanpela bilong ol dispela liklik pikinini i samting nating. Long wanem, mi tokim yupela, Long insait long heven ol ensel bilong ol i lukim oltaim pes bilong Papa bilong mi husat i stap long heven. | Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
Long wanem, Pikinini Man bilong man i kam long kisim bek dispela husat i lus. | For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
Yupela i ting olsem wanem? Sapos wanpela man i gat 100 sipsip, na wanpela bilong ol i go lus, ating i yes long em i lusim dispela 99, na go insait long ol maunten, na painim dispela husat i go lus? | How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
Na sapos i stap olsem long em i painim dispela pinis, tru tumas, mi tokim yupela, em i wokim amamas tru moa long dispela sipsip, moa long dispela 99 husat i no bin go lus. | And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
Yes, olsem tasol em i no laik bilong Papa bilong yupela husat i stap long heven, long wanpela bilong ol dispela liklik pikinini i ken lus olgeta. | Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
¶ Na moa tu sapos brata bilong yu bai sakim lo i birua long yu, go na tokim em long asua bilong em namel long yu na em yutupela yet. Sapos em bai harim yu, yu bin kisim brata bilong yu. | Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
Tasol sapos em i no gat laik long harim yu, nau kisim wantaim yu wanpela o tupela moa, inap long maus bilong tupela o tripela witnes, olgeta wan wan tok i ken stap strong. | But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
Na sapos em bai slek long harim ol, tokim dispela long sios. Tasol sapos em i slek long harim sios, larim em stap long yu olsem wanpela haiden man na wanpela man bilong kisim takis. | And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
Tru tumas, mi tokim yupela, Wanem samting yupela bai pasim long dispela graun bai i pas long heven. Na wanem samting yupela bai lusim long dispela graun bai lus long heven. | Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Na gen mi tokim yupela, Long sapos tupela bilong yupela bai wanbel long dispela graun long sait bilong wanpela samting long ol bai askim, Papa bilong mi husat i stap long heven bai mekim dispela long ol. | Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Long wanem, we tupela o tripela i bung wantaim long nem bilong mi, mi stap namel long ol long dispela hap. | For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
¶ Nau Pita i kam long em, na tok, Bikpela, hamas taim bai brata bilong mi i mekim sin i birua long mi, na mi bai lusim sin bilong em? Inap long sevenpela taim? | Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Jisas i tokim em, Mi no tokim yu, Inap long sevenpela taim, tasol, Inap long 70 taims sevenpela. | Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Olsem na kingdom bilong heven em i olsem wanpela king, husat i laik kisim stori gut long wok bilong ol wokboi bilong em. | Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
Na taim em i bin stat long kaunim, ol i bringim wanpela long em, husat i dinau long em long 10,000 talen. | And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
Tasol bikos em i no gat long baim, bikman bilong em i tok strong long ol bai salim em long mani, na meri bilong em, na ol pikinini bilong em, na olgeta samting em i gat, na baim pe long dinau. | But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
Olsem na dispela wokboi i pundaun, na lotuim em, i spik, Bikman, yu mas gat pasin bilong sanap strong long traim long mi, na mi bai baim yu long olgeta. | The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
Nau pasin sori i muvim bikman bilong dispela wokboi, na em i lusim em, na lusim dispela dinau bilong em. | Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
Tasol dispela wokboi stret i go ausait, na lukim wanpela wanwok bilong em, husat i dinau long em long 100 pens. Na em i putim ol han antap long em, na holimpas em long nek bilong em, i spik, Baim mi long dispela yu dinau long mi. | But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
Na wanwok bilong em i pundaun long tupela lek bilong em, na askim em plis strong, i spik, Yu mas gat pasin bilong sanap strong long traim long mi, na mi bai baim yu long olgeta. | And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
Na em i no gat laik. Tasol em i go na tromoi em i go long kalabus, inap long em i ken baim dispela dinau. | And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
Olsem na taim ol wanwok bilong em i lukim wanem samting em i mekim, ol i sori tru, na ol i kam na tokaut long bikman bilong ol long olgeta dispela i bin kamap. | So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
Nau bikman bilong em, bihain long em i bin singautim em, i tokim em, O yu wokboi nogut, mi lusim yu long olgeta dispela dinau, bilong wanem, yu askim mi. | Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
Ating i yes long yu tu i mas gat pasin sori long wanwok bilong yu, yes, olsem mi bin gat pasin sori long yu? | Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
Na bikman bilong em i belhat tru, na givim em i go long ol man bilong givim traipela pen, inap long em i ken baim olgeta samting em i mas baim long em. | And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
Olsem tasol wankain olsem bai Papa bilong mi i stap long heven i mekim tu long yupela, sapos yupela, long ol bel bilong yupela, i no lusim olgeta wan wan pasin bilong sakim lo bilong ol brata bilong em. | So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
