Long wanem Mi stap BIKPELA na God bilong yupela. | Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God. |
| 2 | Yupela mas lukautim gut ol sabat bilong Mi na givim biknem long ples holi bilong Mi. Mi stap BIKPELA. | Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. |

Long wanem ol birua bilong yupela bai kaikai dispela. | I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. |

Lain i no laikim tru yupela bai bosim kingdom bilong yupela, na yupela bai ranawe taim i no gat man i ranim yupela. | And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. |
| 18 | Na bilong olgeta bilong dispela, sapos yupela i no laik yet long harim gut Mi, orait bai Mi mekim save long yupela sevenpela taim moa bilong ol sin bilong yupela. | And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. |
| 19 | Na bai Mi brukim hambak pasin bilong strong bilong yupela, na bai Mi mekim skai bilong yupela i olsem ain na graun bilong yupela i olsem bras. | And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: |

Long wanem bai graun bilong yupela i no givim kaikai bilong em, na tu ol diwai i no ken givim ol kaikai bilong ol. | And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. |
| 21 | Na sapos yupela i wokabaut long pasin i birua long Mi, na i no laik harim gut tok bilong Mi, Mi bai bringim sevenpela taim moa ol bagarap i kamap long yupela bilong bihainim ol sin bilong yupela. | And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins. |
| 22 | Na tu bai Mi salim ol wel animal namel long yupela, na ol bai stilim long yupela ol pikinini bilong yupela na bagarapim ol bulmakau samting bilong yupela na mekim yupela i liklik lain, na ol bikpela rot bilong yupela bai stap nating. | I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate. |

| 24 | Orait bai Mi tu i wokabaut long pasin i birua long yupela, na bai Mi mekim save long yupela sevenpela taim bilong ol sin bilong yupela. | Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins. |

Na taim yupela i bung wantaim insait long ol biktaun bilong yupela, bai Mi salim bikpela sik namel long yupela. Na Mi bai putim yupela i go long han bilong birua. | And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy. |

Na yupela bai kaikai na dispela i no inapim yupela. | And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied. |
| 27 | Na bilong olgeta bilong dispela, sapos yupela i no laik harim gut Mi, tasol yupela i wokabaut long pasin i birua long Mi, | And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; |
| 28 | Orait, bai Mi tu i wokabaut long pasin i birua long yupela long pasin bilong bikpela belhat, na Mi, yes, bai Mi mekim save long yupela sevenpela taim bilong ol sin bilong yupela. | Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. |
| 29 | Na bai yupela i kaikai mit bilong bodi bilong ol pikinini man bilong yupela. na yupela bai kaikai mit bilong bodi bilong ol pikinini meri bilong yupela. | And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat. |
| 30 | Na bai Mi bagarapim ol ples bilong yupela i stap antap na katim bilong rausim ol piksa bilong ol god giaman bilong yupela na tromoi ol bodi bilong yupela, taim yupela i stap ol daiman, antap long ol bodi bilong ol god giaman bilong yupela taim ol i daiman na tewel bilong Mi bai tingim yupela i samting i nogut tru. | And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. |

Na bai Mi no smelim dispela smel bilong ol switpela smel bilong yupela. | And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. |

Na graun bilong yupela bai stap nating na ol biktaun bilong yupela i bagarap. | And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. |

Na yupela i stap long graun bilong ol birua bilong yupela, yes long dispela taim graun bai malolo na laikim ol sabat bilong em. | Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies’ land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths. |
| 35 | Inap long em i stap nating em bai malolo, long wanem em i no bin kisim malolo long ol sabat bilong yupela, taim yupela i stap long em. | As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it. |
| 36 | Na long ol bilong yupela i stap laip yet, bai Mi salim pasin bilong pret long bel bilong ol long ol graun bilong ol birua bilong ol. Na nois bilong wanpela lip i seksek bai ranim ol. Na ol bai ranawe olsem ol i ranawe long wanpela bainat. Na ol bai pundaun taim i no gat wanpela i ranim ol. | And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth. |

Na bai yupela i nogat strong long sanap long pes bilong ol birua bilong yupela. | And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies. |
| 38 | Na yupela bai bagarap olgeta namel long ol haiden. Na graun bilong ol birua bilong yupela bai kaikai pinis yupela. | And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up. |

Na tu ol bai pilim nogut na kamap liklik lain wantaim ol papa bilong ol long ol sin nogut bilong ol papa bilong ol. | And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them. |
| 40 | ¶ Sapos ol bai tok yes long sin nogut bilong ol na sin nogut bilong ol papa bilong ol, wantaim pasin bilong sakim lo i bilong ol na long dispela pasin bilong sakim lo i birua long Mi, na tu long ol i bin wokabaut long rot i birua long Mi, | If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; |
| 41 | Na long Mi tu i bin wokabaut birua long ol na Mi bin bringim ol long graun bilong ol birua bilong ol, na sapos ol i daunim ol bel bilong ol, ol i no bin makim i bilong Mi, na long dispela taim ol i tok orait long Mi bin mekim save long ol long sin nogut bilong ol, | And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: |

Bai Mi tingim gen ol dispela, na bai Mi tingim gen dispela hap graun. | Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. |

Na ol bai tok orait long ol i bin kisim stik bilong sin nogut bilong ol, long wanem, yes long wanem ol i bin tingim ol tok bilong Mi long pe bilong kot i samting nating, na long wanem tewel bilong ol i no laikim tru ol lo bilong Mi i stap long buk. | The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes. |

Long wanem Mi stap BIKPELA na God bilong ol. | And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the Lord their God. |
