¶ Na las, ol brata, beten long mipela, inap long tok bilong Bikpela i ken ran fri, na kisim glori, yes, olsem em i stap wantaim yupela, Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
Na inap long God i ken kisim bek yumi long ol man i nogut na husat yumi i no inap stretim tingting wantaim ol. Long wanem, olgeta man i no gat bilip tru. And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
Tasol Bikpela em i man yu inap bilip long em, husat bai strongim yupela, na pasim yupela longwe long pasin nogut. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
Na mipela i gat strongpela bilip long Bikpela long sait bilong yupela, long yupela bai mekim, na gat laik long mekim wantaim, ol dispela samting mipela i tok strong long yupela. And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
Na Bikpela i ken stiaim ol bel bilong yupela i go insait long laikim tru bilong God, na i go long pasin bilong sanap strong long traim taim yupela i wetim Kraist. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
¶ Nau mipela i tok strong long yupela, ol brata, long nem bilong Bikpela bilong yumi Jisas Kraist, long yupela i ken surikim yupela yet longwe long olgeta wan wan brata husat i no wokabaut stret, na i no bihainim dispela kastam em i kisim long mipela. Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
Long wanem, yupela yet i save long yupela i mas bihainim mipela olsem wanem. Long wanem, mipela i no wokabaut long pasin i no stret namel long yupela. For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
Na tu mipela i no bin kaikai nating ol kaikai bilong wanpela man. Tasol mipela i wok wantaim hatwok na hatwok wantaim pen nait na san, inap long mipela i no ken gat dinau long wanpela bilong yupela, Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
I no bikos mipela i no gat pawa, tasol long mekim mipela yet wanpela piksa long yupela long yupela i ken bihainim mipela. Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
Long wanem, yes, taim mipela i stap wantaim yupela, mipela i givim dispela strongpela tok long yupela, long sapos wanpela man i no gat laik long wok, em i no ken kaikai tu. For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
Long wanem, mipela i harim long i gat sampela husat i wokabaut kranki namel long yupela, taim ol i no wok liklik, tasol ol i ol man bilong sutim nus insait long samting bilong arapela. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
Nau ol husat i kain olsem, mipela i tok strong na givim tok bilong strongim bel, long nem bilong Bikpela bilong yumi Jisas Kraist, inap long, wantaim pasin bilong stap isi, ol i ken wok, na kaikai ol kaikai bilong ol yet. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
Tasol yupela, ol brata, no ken stap les tru long mekim gutpela pasin. But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
Na sapos wanpela man i no bihainim tok bilong mipela long dispela pas, luksave long dispela man, na no ken poroman wantaim em, inap long em i ken sem. And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
Tasol no ken kaunim em olsem wanpela birua, tasol givim strongpela skul long em olsem wanpela brata. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
¶ Nau Bikpela bilong bel isi em yet i ken givim yupela bel isi oltaim long olgeta rot. Bikpela i stap wantaim yupela olgeta. Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
Dispela tok gude bilong Pol wantaim han bilong mi yet, dispela em i mak insait long olgeta wan wan pas, olsem tasol mi raitim. The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
Marimari bilong Bikpela bilong yumi Jisas Kraist i stap wantaim yupela olgeta. Amen. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. The second epistle to the Thessalonians was written from Athens.
