| 2 | Long yupela i no ken seksek kwiktaim insait long tingting, o pilim wari, i no long spirit tu, o long tok, o long pas olsem em i kam long mipela, olsem long de bilong Kraist i klostu. | That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. |

Bilong wanem, ol i no bin kisim laikim tru bilong tok tru, inap long God i ken kisim bek ol. | And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. |

| 16 | ¶ Nau Bikpela bilong yumi Jisas Kraist em yet, na God, yes, Papa bilong yumi, husat i bin laikim yumi tru, na husat i bin givim yumi pasin bilong kisim bel isi bilong oltaim oltaim na gutpela hop long wok bilong marimari, | Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, |
