Na tu long bodi, long yupela bai werim wanem. | And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. |

Na yet mi tokim yupela, long Solomon insait long olgeta glori bilong em i no putim naispela klos i olsem wanpela bilong ol dispela. | Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. |

Tru tumas, mi tokim yupela, long em bai pasim strong namel bilong em yet, na mekim ol long sindaun long kaikai, na em bai kam ausait na tilim kaikai long ol. | Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. |

| 45 | Tasol na sapos dispela wokboi i toktok insait long bel bilong em, Bikman bilong mi i no mekim kam bek bilong em hariap, na em bai stat long paitim ol wokman na ol yangpela meri, na long kaikai na dring, na long stap spak, | But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; |
| 46 | Bikman bilong dispela wokboi bai kam long wanpela de, taim em i no lukluk long em, na long wanpela aua, taim em i no klia long en, na em bai katim em long ol hap, na em bai makim hap skel bilong em wantaim ol man i no gat bilip. | The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. |
| 47 | Na dispela wokboi, husat i save long laik bilong bikman bilong em, na em i no redim em yet, na tu em i no mekim bilong bihainim laik bilong em, ol bai paitim wantaim planti mak bilong wip. | And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. |

Na long husat ol man i bin putim planti long han bilong em, long em ol bai askim moa. | But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. |

Tambu mama bai birua long tambu pikinini meri bilong em, na tambu pikinini meri bai birua long tambu mama bilong em. | The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. |
