Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. |

Mi no inap long kirap na givim long yu. | And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. |

| 12 | O sapos em bai askim long wanpela kiau, bai em i tokim em long kisim wanpela skopian? | Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? |
| 13 | Nau sapos yupela, taim yupela i stap ol man nogut, i save long rot bilong givim ol gutpela presen i go long ol pikinini bilong yupela, hamas moa bai Papa bilong yupela long heven i givim Holi Spirit long ol husat i askim em? | If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? |

Na ol manmeri i tingting planti. | And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered. |

Olsem na ol bai stap ol jas bilong yupela. | And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. |

| 21 | Taim wanpela strongpela man i gat ol samting bilong pait i lukautim gut haus king bilong em, ol kago bilong em i stap wantaim bel isi. | When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: |
| 22 | Tasol taim wanpela man i strongpela moa long em bai kamap long em, na winim em, em i kisim long em olgeta klos pait we em i putim bilip long ol, na tilim ol kago bilong pait bilong em. | But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. |

Na taim em i no lukim liklik, em i tok, Mi bai go bek long haus bilong mi we mi kam ausait long en. | When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. |

Na las sin daun bilong dispela man em i nogut moa long stat bilong en. | Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. |

Na God bai i no inap givim wanpela mak long ol, mak bilong profet Jonas tasol. | And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. |

Na, lukim, man i winim Solomon i stap long hia. | The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. |

Na, lukim, man i winim Jonas i stap long hia. | The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. |

Tasol taim ai bilong yu i nogut, bodi bilong yu tu i pulap long tudak. | The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. |

| 37 | ¶ Na taim em i toktok, wanpela Farisi i askim em strong plis long kam kaikai wantaim em. Na em i go insait, na sindaun long kaikai. | And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat. |

Tasol insait hap bilong yupela i pulap wantaim pasin bilong kaikai wantaim bikpela hangre na pasin nogut. | And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. |

Ol dispela samting yupela i mas bin mekim, na no ken lusim arapela we yupela i no mekim. | But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. |

| 45 | Nau wanpela bilong ol masta kot i bekim, na tokim em, Tisa, taim yu toktok olsem yu givim sem long mipela tu. | Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also. |

Long wanem, yupela i pulapim ol man wantaim ol hevi i hevi nogut tru long karim, na yupela yupela yet i no tasim ol dispela hevi wantaim wanpela bilong ol pinga bilong yupela. | And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers. |

Long wanem, em i tru long ol i kilim ol, na yupela i wokim ol matmat bilong ol. | Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres. |
| 49 | Olsem na tu save tru bilong God i tok, Mi bai salim ol ol profet na ol aposel, na sampela bilong ol bai ol i kilim i dai na givim hevi, | Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute: |
