| 2 | Long wanem, mi save long pasin redi bilong tingting bilong yupela, long dispela mi bin litimapim yupela long ol bilong Masedonia, long Akea em i redi wanpela yia i go pinis. Na hatwok bilong bihainim bilong yupela i bin kirapim bel bilong planti tru. | For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many. |

| 4 | Nogut i ken kamap sapos ol bilong Masedonia i kam wantaim mi, na lukim yupela i no redi, mipela (dispela mipela i no tok, yupela) i ken kisim sem long dispela litimapim stret wantaim strongpela bilip. | Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting. |
| 5 | Olsem na mi tingting olsem i gat nid long mipela i strongim bel bilong ol brata, inap long ol i ken go paslain long yupela, na redim pastaim dispela samting i pulap moa bilong yupela, we yupela i bin kisim toksave long en bipotaim, inap long dispela stret i ken stap redi, olsem wanpela samting bilong samting i pulap moa, na i no olsem em i bilong pasin mangal. | Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness. |

| 13 | Taim, long wok bilong dispela wok yupela i traim, ol i givim glori long God long tokaut bilong yupela long stap aninit long gutnius bilong Kraist, na long samting yupela i tilim wantaim laik bilong bel i go long ol, na long olgeta man, | Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; |
| 14 | Na long prea bilong ol long yupela, husat i gat laik tru long lukim yupela bilong tingim dispela marimari bilong God i planti moa yet insait long yupela. | And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. |
