1 Ty si, uti de dagar och i den samma tidenom, när jag omwändandes warder Juda och Jerusalems fängelse; For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 Så will jag sammansamka alla Hedningar, och skall föra dem neder i Josaphats dal, och wara der med dem til rätta, på mins folks och mins arfwedels Israels wägna, at de hafwa förstrött dem ibland Hedningarna, och delt emellan sig mitt land; I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3 Och kastat lott öfwer mitt folk, och gifwit piltar för mat, och sålt pigor för win, och fördruckit dem. And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
4 Och I af Zor och Zidon, och alla Philisteers gränsor, hwad hafwen I med mig at göra? Wiljen I trotsa mig? Nu wäl, om I trotsen mig, så skall jag snarliga och med hast wedergälla eder det uppå edart hufwud. Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
5 I som hafwen tagit mitt silfwer och guld, och min sköna klenodier, och fört dem in uti edra kyrkor: Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
6 Dertil ock sålt Juda barn och Jerusalems barn de Greker, på det I ju skullen låta dem komma långt bort ifrå sina gränsor; The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
7 Si, jag skall upwäcka dem ifrå det rum, dit I dem sålt hafwen, och skall wedergällat eder uppå edart hufwud; Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
8 Och skall åter sälja edra söner och döttrar genom Juda barn; de skola då sälja dem in uti rika Arabien, eno folke i fjerran land; ty HERren hafwer det talat. And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 Roper detta ut ibland Hedningarna: Helger ena strid, upwäcker de starka; låter komma och updraga allt krigsfolk: Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Görer af edrom plogbillom swärd, och af edrom liom spetsar; den swage hålle sig stark. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Gadder eder tilhopa, och kommer hit, alle Hedningar allt omkring, och församler eder; der skall HERren nederlägga dina starka. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord.
12 Står up, I Hedningar, och drager up til Josaphats dal; ty der will jag sitta, til at döma alla Hedningar allt omkring. Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13 Slår til med liarna, ty säden är mogen; kommer neder, ty prässen är full, och prässen löper öfwer; ty deras ondska är stor. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Det skall wara mycket folk här och der i skiljodalenom; ty HERrans dag är hardt när i skiljodalenom. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
15 Sol och måne skola förmörkas, och stjernorna skola förhålla sitt sken. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 Och HERren skall ryta utaf Zion, och låta höra sina röst utaf Jerusalem, så at både himmel och jord skola bäfwa; men HERren skall wara sino folke en tilflykt, och Israels barnom ett fäste. The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
17 Och I skolen förnimma at jag, HERren, edar Gud, bor i Zion på mino helgo berge; då skall Jerusalem heligt wara, och inge främmande mera wandra derigenom. So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
18 På den tiden skola bergen drypa sött win, och högarne flyta mjölk, och alle Juda bäcker skola gå fulle med watn; och der skall utgå en källa ifrå HERrans hus; hon skall watna den dalen Sittim. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 Men Egypten skall öde warda, och Edom en wild ökn, för den orätts skull, som de på Juda barn bedrifwit hafwa, och utguto oskyldigt blod i deras land. Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 Men Juda skall besuttet warda ewinnerliga, och Jerusalem til ewig tid. But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 Och jag skall icke låta deras blod ohämnadt blifwa; och HERren skall bo i Zion. For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.
