1 Och HERren talade med Mose och Aaron, och sade til dem: And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
2 Taler med Israels barn, och säger: Dessa äro de djur, som I äta skolen, ibland all djur på jordene. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
3 Allt det som ibland djuren twåklöfwadt är, och idislar, det skolen i äta. Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
4 Men det som idislar, och är klöfwadt, dock icke twåklöfwadt, såsom camelen, det är eder orent, och I skolen icke ätat: Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
5 Cuniler idisla wäl; men de äro icke twåklöfwade: Derföre äro de orene. And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
6 Haren idislar ock; men han är icke twåklöfwad: Derföre är han eder oren. And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
7 Och swinet är wäl twåklöfwadt; men det idislar icke: Derföre är det eder orent. And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
8 Af dessas kött skolen I icke äta, och icke komma wid deras as; ty de äro eder oren. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
9 Detta skolen I äta ibland det som i watnena är: Allt det som spol och fjäll hafwer i floder, i hafwena, och i bäckom; det skolen I äta. These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
10 Men allt det som icke hafwer spol och fjäll i hafwena, och i bäckom, ibland allt det som röres i watnen, och allt det som lefwer i watne, det skall wara eder en wederstyggelse. And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11 At I icke äten af dess kött: Och skyr wid deras as; They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Ty allt det som icke hafwer spol och fjäll i watnena, der skolen I sky weder. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
13 Och detta skolen I sky weder ibland foglarna, at I icke äten dem: Örnen, höken, falken: And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
14 Gamen, gladona, och det af deras art är: And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
15 Och alle korpar med deras art: Every raven after his kind;
16 Strussfoglen, uglona, göken, sparfhöken med sin art: And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
17 Stenuglona, swanen, ufwen: And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
18 Flädermusena, rördrommen: And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
19 Storken, hägren, skrikona med sin art: Widhöfden och swalona. And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
20 Och allt det sig rörer ibland foglarna, och går på fyra fötter, det skall wara eder en wederstyggelse. All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
21 Dock detta skolen I äta af foglom, der sig rörer och går på fyra fötter, hwilkas knä stå tilbaka, der det med hoppar på jordene. Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
22 Der af må I äta, såsom är Arbe med sin art, och Saleam med sin art, och Hargol med sin art, och Hagab med sin art. Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
23 Allt det eljest hafwer fyra fötter ibland foglarna, det skall wara eder en wederstyggelse. But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
24 Och I skolen räkna dem oren. Den som kommer wid deras as, han skall wara oren allt intill aftonen. And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
25 Och den som någors deras as bär, han skall twå sin kläder, och skall blifwa oren allt intil aftonen. And whosoever beareth ought of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
26 Derföre, allt det djur som klöfwadt är, och icke twåklöfwadt, och idislar icke, det skall wara eder orent: Den som kommer derwid, han blifwer oren. The carcases of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
27 Och allt det som går på händer ibland djuren, som gå på fyra fötter, det skall wara eder orent: Den som kommer wid deras as, han skall wara oren allt intil aftonen. And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.
28 Och den som deras as bär, han skall twå sin kläder, och wara oren allt intil aftonen; ty allt sådant är eder orent. And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.
29 Desse skola ock wara eder oren ibland de djur som krypa på jordene: Lekatten, musen, paddan, hwart efter sitt slag: These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
30 Igelkotten, molken, ödlan, stellion, mullwaden: And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
31 De äro eder oren ibland allt det som kryper; den som kommer wid deras as, han skall wara oren intil aftonen. These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
32 Och allt det som et sådant dödt as på faller, det warder orent; ware sig allahanda träkäril, eller kläder, eller skinn, eller säck, och all sådana redskap, der man något med gör, skall man låta i watn, och det blifwer orent intil aftonen; så warder det rent. And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
33 Allahanda lerkäril, om et sådant as deruti faller, warder allt orent, som deruti är, och skall sönderslås. And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
34 All mat som man äter, om det watnet kommer deruti, den är oren: Och all dryck, som man dricker af allahanda sådana kärile, är oren. Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
35 Och allt det som et sådant as på faller, det blifwer orent, ware sig ugn eller ketslar, det skall man slå sönder; ty det är orent, och skall wara eder orent. And every thing whereupon any part of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
36 Dock brunnar, källor och dammar äro rene: Den som kommer wid deras as, han är oren: Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
37 Och om et sådant as fölle på säd, som man sått hafwer, så är hon dock ren. And if any part of their carcase fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
38 Men gjuter man watn på sädena, och sedan fölle sådant as deruppå, så worde hon eder oren. But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
39 Om et djur dör, det I äta mågen: Den som kommer wid det aset, den är oren intil aftonen. And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
40 Den som äter af sådant as, han skall twå sin kläder, och skall blifwa oren intil aftonen: Så ock den som bär et sådant as, han skall twå sin kläder, och blifwa oren intill aftonen. And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
41 Det som kräker på jordene skall wara eder en wederstyggelse, och man skall icke ätat. And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
42 Och allt det som går på bukenom, och allt det som går på fyra eller flera fötter, af allo thy som kräker på jordene, det skolen I icke äta; ty det skall wara eder en wederstyggelse. Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
43 Görer edra själar icke till styggelse, och besmitter eder icke deruppå, så at I blifwen orene. Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
44 Ty jag är HERren edar Gud: Derföre skolen I helga eder, at I blifwen helige; ty jag är helig: Och I skolen icke orena edra själar på något kräkande djur, som på jordene kräker. For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
45 Ty jag är HERren, som hafwer fört eder utur Egypti land, at jag skall wara edar Gud: Derföre skolen I wara helige, ty jag är helig. For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
46 Detta är lagen öfwer djur och foglar, och allahanda kräkande djur i watnena, och allahanda djur som kräka på jordene: This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
47 At I skolen weta åtskilnad på, hwad orent och rent är, och hwad djur man äta, och hwad man icke äta skall. To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
