| 1 | Oye, o! Dios, mi voz en mi oración: guarda mi vida del miedo del enemigo: | Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. |
| 2 | Escóndeme del secreto consejo de los malignos: de la conspiración de los que obran iniquidad. | Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: |
| 3 | Que afilaron su lengua, como espada: armaron por su saeta palabra amarga: | Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: |
| 4 | Para asaetar a escondidas al perfecto: de presto le asaetean, y no temen. | That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. |
| 5 | Afírmanse asimismos sobre palabra mala: tratan de esconder los lazos: dicen: ¿Quién los ha de ver? | They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? |
| 6 | Inquieren iniquidades; perficionan la inquisición del inquiridor, y lo que inventó lo íntimo de cada uno, y el corazón inventivo. | They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. |
| 7 | Mas Dios los asaeteará con saeta, de repente serán sus plagas. | But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. |
| 8 | Y harán caer sobre sí sus mismas lenguas: espantarse han todos los que los vieren. | So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. |
| 9 | Y temerán todos los hombres, y anunciarán la obra de Dios, y entenderán su obra. | And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. |
| 10 | El justo se alegrará en Jehová, y asegurarse ha en él: y alabarse han todos los rectos de corazón. | The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. |
