| 1 | Escápame de mis enemigos, o! Dios mío: líbrame de los que se levantan contra mí. | Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me. |
| 2 | Escápame de los que obran iniquidad, y sálvame de los varones de sangres: | Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men. |
| 3 | Porque, he aquí, han asechado a mi vida: hánse juntado contra mí fuertes sin rebelión mía, y sin pecado mío, o! Jehová. | For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord. |
| 4 | Sin mi delito corren, y se aperciben: despierta para encontrarme, y mira. | They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold. |
| 5 | Y tú, Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, despierta a visitar todas las naciones: no hayas misericordia de todos los que se rebelan con iniquidad. Selah. | Thou therefore, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah. |
| 6 | Volverse han a la tarde, ladrarán como perros, y rodearán la ciudad. | They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city. |
| 7 | He aquí, hablarán con su boca: espadas están en sus labios, porque, ¿Quién lo oye? | Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear? |
| 8 | Mas tú, Jehová, te reirás de ellos: harás burla de todas las gentes. | But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision. |
| 9 | Para ti reservaré su fortaleza: porque Dios es mi defensa. | Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence. |
| 10 | El Dios de mi misericordia me prevendrá: Dios me hará ver en mis enemigos venganza. | The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies. |
| 11 | No los matarás, porque mi pueblo no se olvide; házlos vagabundos con tu fortaleza, y abatelos, o! Jehová, escudo nuestro. | Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield. |
| 12 | Por el pecado de su boca, por la palabra de sus labios, y sean presos por su soberbia: y cuenten de maldición y de enflaquecimiento, | For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak. |
| 13 | Acábalos con furor, acábalos y no sean: y sepan que Dios domina en Jacob hasta los fines de la tierra. Selah. | Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah. |
| 14 | Y vuelvan a la tarde, y ladren como perros: y rodeen la ciudad. | And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city. |
| 15 | Anden ellos vagabundos para hallar que comer: y si no se hartaren, murmuren. | Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied. |
| 16 | Y yo cantaré tu fortaleza y loaré de mañana tu misericordia: porque has sido mi amparo, y refugio en el día de mi angustia. | But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. |
| 17 | Fortaleza mía, a ti cantaré: porque eres Dios de mi amparo, Dios de mi misericordia. | Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy. |
