| 1 | Ten misericordia de mí, o! Dios, conforme a tu misericordia; conforme a la multitud de tus miseraciones rae mis rebeliones. | Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. |
| 2 | Aumenta el lavarme de mi maldad; y límpiame de mi pecado. | Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. |
| 3 | Porque yo conozco mis rebeliones: y mi pecado está siempre delante de mí. | For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. |
| 4 | A ti, a ti solo he pecado, y he hecho lo malo delante de tus ojos: porque te justifiques en tu palabra, y te purifiques en tu juicio. | Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. |
| 5 | He aquí, en maldad he sido formado: y en pecado me calentó mi madre. | Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. |
| 6 | He aquí, la verdad has amado en lo íntimo: y en lo secreto me hiciste saber sabiduría. | Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. |
| 7 | Purifícame con hisopo, y seré limpio: lávame, y seré emblanquecido más que la nieve. | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. |
| 8 | Házme oír gozo y alegría: y harán alegrías los huesos que moliste. | Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. |
| 9 | Esconde tu rostro de mis pecados: y rae todas mis maldades. | Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. |
| 10 | Críame, o! Dios, un corazón limpio: y renueva un espíritu recto en medio de mí. | Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. |
| 11 | No me eches de delante de ti: y no quites de mí tu Santo Espíritu. | Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. |
| 12 | Vuélveme el gozo de tu salud: y el Espíritu voluntario me sustentará. | Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. |
| 13 | Enseñaré a los prevaricadores tus caminos: y los pecadores se convertirán a ti. | Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. |
| 14 | Escápame de homicidios, o! Dios, Dios de mi salud: cante mi lengua tu justicia. | Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. |
| 15 | Señor, abre mis labios, y denuncie mi boca tu alabanza. | O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. |
| 16 | ¶ Porque no quieres sacrificio, que, si no, yo lo daría: holocausto no quieres. | For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. |
| 17 | Los sacrificios de Dios es el espíritu quebrantado: el corazón contrito y molido, o! Dios, no menospreciarás. | The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. |
| 18 | Haz bien con tu buena voluntad a Sión: edifica los muros de Jerusalem. | Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. |
| 19 | Entonces te agradarán los sacrificios de justicia, el holocausto, y el quemado: entonces ofrecerán sobre tu altar becerros. | Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. |
