| 1 | Salva, o! Jehová, porque se acabaron los misericordiosos: porque se han acabado los fieles de entre los hijos de los hombres. | Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men. |
| 2 | Mentira habla cada uno con su prójimo con labios lisonjeros: con doblez de corazón, hablan. | They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak. |
| 3 | Tale Jehová todos los labios lisonjeros: la lengua que habla grandezas. | The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: |
| 4 | Que dijeron: Por nuestra lengua prevaleceremos: nuestros labios están con nosotros, ¿quién nos es Señor? | Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us? |
| 5 | ¶ Por la opresión de los pobres, por el gemido de los menesterosos, ahora me levantaré, dice Jehová: yo pondré en salvo al que el enlaza. | For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him. |
| 6 | Las palabras de Jehová, palabras limpias: plata refinada en horno de tierra: colada siete veces. | The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. |
| 7 | Tú, Jehová, los guardarás: guárdalos para siempre de aquesta generación. | Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. |
| 8 | Cercando andan los malos: entretanto las vilezas de los hijos de los hombres son exaltadas. | The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted. |
