| 1 | У Господа се уздам; зашто говорите души мојој: "лети у гору као птица; | In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? |
| 2 | Јер ево грјешници натегоше лук, запеше стријелу своју за тетиву, да из мрака стријељају праве срцем. | For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. |
| 3 | Кад су раскопани темељи, шта ће чинити праведник?" | If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? |
| 4 | Господ је у светом двору свом, пријесто је Господњи на небесима; очи његове гледају; вјеђе његове испитују синове човјечије. | The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. |
| 5 | Господ испитује праведнога; а безбожнога и којему је мило чинити зло ненавиди душа његова. | The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. |
| 6 | Пустиће на безбожнике дажд од живога угљевља, огња и сумпора; и огњени вјетар биће им дио из чаше; | Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. |
| 7 | Јер је Господ праведан, љуби правду; лице ће његово видјети праведници. | For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright. |
