| 2 | Klatscht in die Hände, ihr Völker alle! Jauchzet Gott mit fröhlichem Schall! | For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. |
| 3 | Denn der HERR, der Höchste, ist zu fürchten, ein großer König über die ganze Erde. | He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. |
| 4 | Er wird die Völker unter uns zwingen und die Nationen unter unsre Füße. | He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah. |
| 5 | Er wird uns unser Erbteil erwählen, den Stolz Jakobs, den er geliebt. (Pause.) | God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. |
